Coastal inn Corpus Christi

I booked this motel with the “pay when you stay” option. I got there and go to check in. It was cold outside, but I couldn’t check in by going inside. I had to stand at the window. When I was checking in the girl told me that my card had already been charged, therefore I wouldn’t be able to get my money back. A person came along with belongings in a black garbage bag. He stood next to where I was checking in the whole time I was checking in. When I was done and going to the truck, he left and walked through a gap busted in the privacy fence of the gas station next door. A lot of transients were coming through the fence and cutting across the parking lot. I didn’t feel safe, and evidently they didn’t think it was safe because in broad daylight they kept the lobby doors locked. The room was nowhere near any stairs and I have a bad hip. She couldn’t change the room because most of the rooms were blocked off and dirty and wouldn’t be cleaned until later today or tomorrow. I told her that we didn’t want to stay there because we felt unsafe, she asked me why. I told her about all the transients going through. She lied and told me that they were the kids of other guests. Don’t waste your money.

I had booked at this hotel back in may for me and my boyfriend and well to start off DO NOT BOOK HERE AT ALL!!!!they do not care about their customers at all I had to let them know multiple of times about a leak from the A/C never did a single thing never sent anyone like they said they would the area is really sketchy and feels unsafe and I’ve seen a review where they never got their deposit back and I’ll be honest I never got mine back either they were quick to charge us for the deposit but never returned it after weeks of calling and asking their answer always was “we can’t do anything we already sent it so if you don’t see it in another week call back” I called and same excuse so I’ll just say this THIS HOTEL JUST SCAMS AND LIES ABOUT GIVING YOU YOUR DEPOSIT BACK!!!!if anything I wish I could give this hotel an absolute 0 stars I can clearly see why they have a 2 start rating

First off when we got there it was false advertisement the rooms were not as described or shown on picture there was a syringe in my room there was a bottle of water from the people that were previously there the beds were all stained there was like multiple sheets on the bed as if they just put another one on top of all the ones that are already on there my daughter blow dry her hair got caught in the little fan because we didn't see that it was broken. My kids were excited to get in the pool and we got there there was no water in the pool and it was disgusting and it said on the app that it was available. The TV didn't work all night there was wires hanging from the ceiling the hallway the floor was falling apart a hazardous for people and kids. It look like an abandoned motel just getting fixed.

Housekeeping was terrible, they never came to refresh towels or new sheets, trash was piled up for days and scattered throughout property. Toilet leaked a lot with every flush, shower had very low pressure and out of a week only one day was the water hot. Pool is nasty looking, never an open lobby area. No tv or wifi. Outside lights flicker and flash like your at a club. Overall a horrible week. If you go here stay away from room 258. They fix nothing and they do not care about guests.

No towels, people are rude, a lot of Drug addicts, prostitutes, and rooms are very dirty 👎👎👎👎👎 worst idea ever made in coming to hotel!!

I stayed at this hotel on April 6 - 7. 2024 . It has been 3 weeks, I should of had my deposit returned within a week no later!!!!!!When I look up the number and call in regards to my 50 deposit, there is no answer or the number is disconnected. There is no reason I should not get my deposit back. They are quick to take a deposit but not quick to send it back. I would like to be able to talk to someone or even a number that works. Of course there was no wifi!

Positive: Price was relatively cheap. Negative: Room was not clean. Hair stubble on sink. Mattress was torn up and no fitted sheet to cover it up. Only a single sheet laid over so when moved it exposed the dirty torn mattress. No blanket, only a decorative silk half cover. No toiletries. Dirty towel. Negative: ""

There was no hot water in the room. I waited 10 minutes for hot water. Nothing. I talked to the front desk attendant. They offered to move to a different room. I asked if there was going to be hot water. Attendant stated that they had not had issues. I again asked if there would be hot water and if not then to cancel the stay. The attendant stated I would need to speak with the 3rd party to cancel. Instead of just being upfront with the hot water issue, the person chose to not say anything. I wouldn't recommend staying there.
