NillSo for the price you think...alright I can deal w it not being the newest or fanciest, but you do except it to be clean. This place was def not!!!!!! We got our room key for a non smoking room and it reaked of smoke and mildew, the room was not cleaned what so ever. Every surface has finger prints and filth. Where was the wipe down? The bedsheets had stains and there was roaches! Roaches!!!!!! We left and requested a refund, we did not stay. I would have taken more pics but the whole family was grossed out

NillI would put the service higher because the first two night the service was amazing. I was put out from where I was staying with my two kids going thru personal things and they staff worked with me and was great until this morning the person at the front desk treated me like I was a terrible person and like she was to bothered to help me. I even offered to find a way to come up with the extra 5$ they discounted me the last two nights just to keep the room and she seemed so bothered that the staff had helped me the night before and said that she wouldn’t honor my room the same price if I needed to stay longer. When I looked up the prices online it was $5 cheaper online then what she had charged me and was making me feel awful for only having what I had. I understand that the price is the price but the website even says they have flexible pay options to ask the staff about it. I left the lobby in tears because I felt so uncomfortable with how she was being towards me

NillWe were given a great deal on this hotel so there’s that, along with the friendly and kind staff, but me and my husband’s experience with the hygiene of the place and the atmosphere was terrible. Genuinely, I want to ask, is it normal for guests in Corpus Christi hotels to have seen 8-10 roaches in a 24 hour stay at an inn? I am terribly afraid of roaches and it’s honestly a miracle I made it through the night, as the bed was also dirty, stained, and had baby roaches. Before you ask, no, me and my husband did not take the bed, we stayed up all night waiting for the constant banging, laughing, and car head lights to stop. I’m convinced the hotel is for women of the night, as I also saw two women dressed insanely walk in and out of two different hotels with a stack of cash when we went to take a walk around the perimeter. If you want a laugh, drive by I swear you’ll see some stuff. Terrible stay, me and my husband spent the whole night laughing at how bad the place was.

NillThis place needs to close! Floors looked like they needed to be mopped. The small sofa in the room looked old and run down. The shower.. 🫣. Had mold on the tub, a visible hole instead of a plate to covers the lever. It wAs too late to ask for a different room. Dont know why I continue to stay there. This time was the worst room ever. we gave you a chance to clean up your act but didn’t. We will never stay there again! ❌

NillGot a great deal online, and I usually have had great luck with Red Roof all over the US. This one not so much. The people who work in the office were kind and friendly. The housekeepers were also very nice. However, nice and friendly isn't enough. I arrived at my room later in the evening and, upon entering, was greeted with an overwhelming smell of mildew/mold. I turned the ac on and the exhaust fan and hoped to air it out and get a candle or something to mask the smell. No big deal. I was tired from traveling and ready for sleep. The next day, I noticed the mold present in the bathroom and next to the sink.... I didn't bother asking to switch rooms because I was ready to leave. I knew I wouldn't get my money back and had already moved all my stuff into the room. The other reason for not wanting to stick around is the fact that there are loud guests up all hours of the night. Every night I stayed here, I was woken up by someone laughing or tweakers yelling at the top of their lungs. I also had several people try to enter my room who were not staff, and one lady whose key card opened my door. I know she was not housekeeping because they came shortly after, and no one resembled her. The lady did not knock nor announce herself... when she opened the door I asked can I help you?, and she just closed the door.... not sure if this is your standard practice here to just barge into rooms unannounced or if you accidentally gave someone a key to my room, but regardless, I didn't appreciate the fact that I had alot of expensive equipment that I travel with and had I not been there at that time, it may have been stolen. Which would have been my problem alone..... I did not see any bugs, just mold in the shower and sink, and no surfaces were cleaned with any kind of detail during my stay. Just daily trash emptied and new towels. Stay away from this place. There are plenty of other options in Corpus.

NillWorst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Floors soaking wet, phone didn’t work, light burnt out, fire alarm chirping, toilet paper holder fell out of the wall, the pleather couch had no pleather left on it, the mattress was disgusting under the sheet, windows filthy and it wasn’t a cheap stay. We aren’t picky but this place was so disgusting it all added up to appalling

NillThis is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. The front desk is not welcoming, they allow other guests to work on cars in the parking lot, it was like having a room in a salvage yard, for this being a red roof inn, I wasn't impressed and very surprised that red roof inn is allowing their reputation to deplinsh from hotels like these it's starting to become super 8 another once a good hotel chain, now a hit and miss, from the allowed drug use and dirty rooms. In the red roof the couch had hairs on it and an old used coffee filter tray, 2 big sized roaches. That's why I gave it a one ⭐

NillOur room had roaches!! The bedding was heavily stained. The beds were worn with deep imprints of where guests sat on the edge of the bed. We turned the mattress around just so we could sleep on it. During our stay our beds were never made. The trash was emptied and the floors swept every day. Our room did NOT have a fridge or microwave. The AC was great!!
