Hilton Garden Inn Corpus Christi

Pretty decent location, close to everything but not right in the middle of the spring break craze. Rooms were decent, only gripe is that the bathtub was peeling a lot and probably needs to be replaced. Breakfast was good and pretty standard with cereals, waffles, scrambled eggs, sausage, and potatoes. Not a bad stay, worth the price. Family friendly, dog friendly, with accommodating staff.

The location is convenient — close to restaurants, a movie theater, and shopping — which was a plus. The room appearance was acceptable, but the decor is extremely outdated. I stayed on the first floor, which seems to be where guests with pets are placed, and the carpet looked pretty gross, honestly. The room temperature was hard to control, which made it uncomfortable at times. One major issue: the website advertises free or complimentary parking, but I was still charged after checkout. When I called the front desk to ask about it, the woman I spoke with was very rude and dismissive. She claimed it was on the website (it wasn’t), and told me she’d pass it to the manager — “if he feels like calling you, he will.” Seriously? Also, breakfast was a bit overpriced for what it was, though it didn’t taste bad. Just a heads-up to check your bill carefully and be prepared for less-than-friendly service if you have an issue.

Correy and Emily have made my stay the best. They made me feel welcome from the first time I walked in the door. My dogs love the attention and affection from them. We definitely enjoyed our stay. I believe these two ladies have made my stay even more amazing even though I am going through a rough time. Thank you again I will definitely be back.

I have had to stay 5 nights. And Emily and Correy have made my stay exceptional. I have been going through a rough time, trying to get into a new place and having three dogs and finding a good place to stay was scary. They treat my dogs very well, even gave them a pup cup. That meant the world to me seeing them so happy. Thank you for all you two have done. We need more people like you in the customer service industry.

Very nice hotel. Very clean. Super friendly service especially from the front desk agent Adrian Avalos! He was so helpful and outgoing. Good vibes all around. Made my stay so comfortable. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a good place to stay.

I had 2 rooms but they were initially put on two different floors. A/C unit did not work in my room so I had to drag all my stuff back down from the 3rd floor to get new keys. New room, now on the same floor but complete opposite ends from my friends room. Remote control only worked if using the down channel button. It took 4 attempts to reach someone at the desk because the phone wouldn't connect. 2nd room had no water pressure. All of these things could be prevented with regular room inspection. All this would have been no big deal if the customer service was pleasant. She was very abrupt and didn't not seem to concerned about getting any of the issues remedied. We had no intention of being an inconvenience. Overall it was a nice clean place.

I loved that the hotel was tucked back from the busy road. Rooms were nice. Staff was great. But the bartender, Corey is just the sweetest and bubbliest person. I liked how she split her time amongst guests to make everyone feel important. We came back another time and she remembered our cocktail orders! I like the nice quiet atmosphere. Easy to have a conversation with your friends at. Not like a noisy bar. Overal 10/10 recommend. Especially if Corey is bartending.

I've had a great experience here. I was skeptical at first because I never know since I booked through Priceline but once I got here all the skepticism was thrown out the window. The bartender Correy was a beam of sunshine along with the evening front desk receptionist. Both very hospitable and informative. 10/10 whenever I come back to corpus this will definitely be my first choice.
