Hyatt Place Corpus Christi

Hotel is in great location, rooms are alittle old, right when I walked into mine bathroom tile was off and the sheets had some hair on them. Front desk where understanding. Breakfast was nothing special potatoes, sausage and eggs for both days I stayed. Gentlemen that was taking care of the breakfast was a bit pushy on the cleaning I couldn’t even serve myself without him waiting over my shoulder to put the utensils for the buffet back in place.

I just stayed for Easter weekend and everything went fantastic! Breakfast was tasty and the room was clean. Special shout out to Katie who not only was respectful and had an extremely positive personality, but went above and beyond helping me with everything I needed. Thank you for everything!

Very cheap breakfast. I could not even find potatoes that goes with the eggs. One day they are out of potatoes and another day they mixed little potatoes with pork but we do not eat pork. Not too many items in this minimum breakfast selection. People that serve the breakfast need more training on how to treat customers. Never again I will be coming to this hotel at Corpus Christi. But you need to pay more attention to the breakfast and people that work and serve the breakfast.

The room was not clean. I cleaned the entirety of the floor by hand with disinfecting wipes to include every single horizontal surface. The phone was not working and also wiped down with disinfecting wipes. The bed had hair and stains. The pillows and pillow cases were stained or ripped. One of the pillows had a wad of hair shoved underneath the case. Each time I requested new sheets, they were just as dirty as the original. The bathroom was not clean, I had to clean the toilet and the tub area. I asked the front desk lady if the room had even been cleaned because there was food and trash on the floor. The mirrors were dirty and looked they had been wiped down with dirty rags. Food particles were left on the couch and the bed. The only thing missing from this ordeal were bed bugs.

4:20pm no room was ready for check in (the check in time is 3pm). Staff had bad attitude. The room is a total run down and dirty. Hair and dust are everywhere, floor is not clean at all! Doors are peeling down.. Not worth the money they charge as well as the name of Hyatt! Corporate need to looking into the management of this place.

Property in good shape. Across parking lot from a Saltgrass Staekhouse.||Nice little lobby bar. Hot breakfast was tasty.||Staff super friendly. Room was clean and quiet. I got a good night's sleep on the quality bedding, and the shower had plenty of pressure.

Dingy shower, peeling wallpaper, old furniture, VERY poor water pressure. I'm not sure how this Hyatt has as many stars as it has. Its one of the WORST hotels I've ever stayed at and need to be closed and severely updated. The hotel has dark old peeling furniture. It's gross. I didn't sleep or feel comfortable at this hotel AT ALL. Shower heads are also old & gross with lime build up.

Positive: Hotel employee in the kitchen has an excellent work ethic. So was one of the members of the front desk. (Shorter gal, with glasses, shoulder length curly hair). Negative: Cockroaches in the room, breakfast food was a little....bare. And the front desk staff male with glasses...not so helpful. Polite, but lacks empathy and doesn't take it upon himself to be helpful when he should be or could be,.
