Holiday Inn Express El Paso - Downtown, an IHG Hotel

I had a wonderful experience here! I (53F) traveled alone for business. I felt safe, everyone was friendly, the room was beautiful and comfortable. The bathroom amenities were great and so helpful since I forgot things. Breakfast was great. All in all a wonderful experience that I definitely recommend!

The room was great and very convenient to get on and off the highway. However with the closeness to the high come a lot of highway noise and inability to get solid restful night sleep. The beds are very stiff so if you love hard beds this is for you. My overall experience with this hotel was great don’t get me wrong I will definitely recommend and if I return to the area I will try and stay here again.

Usually pleased at Holiday Inns. Not this time. Room was listed as newly renovated. If that's true, it was not money well spent. Room had not been cleaned. Hair. Toenails. Trash. Dust. Dirt. Stains. Torn furniture. Friendly staff transferred us to a room down the halll. Not as bad, but still dirty. We had to strip the bedding and sleep with a throw we'd brought along. So uncomfortable with the condition of the room that it was difficult to relax. Bed was uncomfortable anyway. Tried to wash off the night with a hot shower the next morning. Water was tepid and would not warm up. One regularly sized bath towels. One towel barely big enough for a garden gnome - it was frayed, stained, and super rough. The shower gels were okay though - Dove brand. Breakfast ends at 9 even on weekends. I will say that the 1 young lady on staff that night was great, and the parking lot was pretty well-lit, although the receptionist did say they were out of parking permits which meant we were liable to be towed. She also said not to worry though because the towing company was slow and probably wouldn't show up until after we'd checked out anyway. Read the rest of the reviews about this place before booking. Stay on the other side of town instead of this location. Actually, stay ANYWHERE ELSE. This is not the place for you. Trust me.

If you love the sound of traffic all night long and taking barely warm showers, this is the place for you. On a positive note, location was easy to access and within walking distance of a nice choice of restaurants and entertainment. But situated right next to the highway, made for a not so restful sleep. Maybe check for a room on the other side of the building before booking.

The room was great, and very spacious. Staff was very friendly and quick to help when I needed something. Location was essential for me to book there. I was there for business, and was able to get to my destination quick. Thank you for a pleasant stay.

My family had an overnight stay at El Paso. It was a great experience. What added to that was our most comfortable stay at Holiday express Inn. The location is great and very accessible. The room was clean and beds were comfortable. We also liked their breakfast.

This place was terrible from the start. Check-in was a terrible experience the girl in the front was rude and unwelcoming. That evening I went down and asked for an extra blanket and was told they don't have any. I've never stayed in a hotel that does not have extra blankets. If you plan on sleeping don't stay here. They're right off the freeway and it sounds like the vehicles are coming through your room. It's just not a hotel that worries about its guests.

My sister was in ICU at a nearby hospital. The hotel was only 5 minutes away which allowed us to visit her often for short periods of time. The ladies at the front desk were kind and welcoming. The rooms were clean well maintained, it was easy to relax and unwind at the end of the day.
