Hampton Inn Houston Hobby Airport

First, the rooms are nice: clean, comfortable, and good quality. The staff are amazing. A man in the lobby had a medical emergency this morning, and Ashley and Susana jumped in, took action, stayed calm, and saved his life. Then, once the paramedics arrived, they got right back to helping guests and cleaning up, without skipping a beat. If I owned a hotel, these two ladies would be who I would want to hire every time. Thank you both.

Rooms are dated but clean, good beds and pillows. The staff is pleasant and helpful. Location is handy for my job but in a sketchy part of town. Had an attempted theft of my truck and thankfully the theft defiant system worked and scum failed. However it also disabled the truck and had to have towed to dealer to clear computer 3day process. Definitely stay at your risk, I will scratch this area from my hotel list. Roving security would help like other hotels have in the area.

As a Diamond Member, i must say.. i do not understand how or why Hilton would even offer such an absolutely disgusting place to spend even an evening in. I had the unfortunate advantage of a two day stay here. I have given this establishment many opportunities to "Make Up For It" with complete disregard. Soooo... Lemme start by saying The "Free Breakfast" was not available being the place was under some sort of Kitchen Construction. To - Go Bags were offered instead. The whole entire place wreaks of mold.. the literal Crackheads that beg you for "Anything" you have outside at all hours of day and night arent a fun interaction to have to deal with when going in and out. When u arrived in my room.. there was literally Pee and Toilet Paper in the Toilet.. which i immediately flushed and thought Oh My.. 🤦🏽‍♂️ should have taken a picture. The room had barely been Comber over. I went down to try and change rooms and the Line was literally out the door. I was told to wait in it. With One attendant at the desk,I was exhausted from my travels so i just ate the crap sandwich dealt. 👍

No hot breakfast. Fruit, cold cereal, muffins, etc. Small beds- not even a queen, maybe it's a double. Musty. Poor lighting in room. Looks in need of a refresh. I expect some noise nearby an airport, but take offs and landings are loud. The entrance from the road is small and unmarked. You'll miss it and have to u-turn. I would not stay here again.

The hotel itself is so so, the parking lot has the lights burnt out and not repaired so it is very dark, my truck was broken into and $3000 of tools stolen out of it. When I told the staff, they said call 911 and if they have any video surveillance, they’d show the officer, but not me. Not happy with the lack of maintenance, the ice machine on 2nd floor beeped for 3 days. I guess they think I don’t take a shower, they never left wash cloths. Go somewhere else, you’ll be glad you did.

The main reason I wanted to get a room here was because it said “HOT BREAKFAST”. It even had pictures of eggs and waffles. When I got down there they had frozen sandwiches that needed to be microwaved, cereal & oatmeal. I literally could’ve booked the hotel across the street or next door for a lower price with hot breakfast. This was a disappointing stay.

WARNING !!! 2/2/2025 Our room smelled like dog pee and so did our friends room. At 6pm, loud 86db construction sounds began. It was outrageous. The front desk informed us the work had to be done and the evening was the only time they could do it. We had an early flight. They offered to change rooms but our friends on the first floor (we were on the 3rd) said it was very loud there too. The poor woman at the front desk seemed like she might have been special needs and didn’t understand that we could not endure that loud noise all night. The older cowboy who came out of the office was also very slow and seemed out of it. We had to leave with no refund. Unbelievable.

We stayed here for 2 nights recently. The bathroom lock is not that great. The door kept rolling open! Breakfast area was undergoing repairs. We got limited go to options (all meat based) with no muffins or bread, which could have been easily taken to rooms eaten. A disappointing stay overall compared to other hampton inn I have stayed in the US before.
