OYO Hotel Houston Southwest I-69

Booked a couple weeks in advance with Expedia with no issue when we got to check in had no problems until we say the room. Covered in roaches, bugs all over the beds, flys all in the restroom, the walls were absolutely filthy, the smoke detector was hanging from the ceiling in a plastic bag, and the room reeked of cigarette smoke and weed, when we went to get a refund the individuals excuse was “I didn’t check the room”. That is an insanely poor excuse if it is one at all. The building was extremely run down. I will never be staying at any OYO hotel ever again no matter how cheap it is who knows what disease ridden bug covered rooms they have.

Booked 2 months in advance!! EVERYTHING PAID IN FULL …Arrived at the hotel just for them to tell me their “system is down” … leaving me stranded late at night . All the hotels were booked . Not to mention getting a refund is a hassle and will take a while . I DO NOT RECOMMEND . Person at desk was no help , no sympathy. Hotel looks like a cheap prostitution hotel . Hotel broke as hell find y’all something better . The hotel I’m in now is such an upgrade and same price I was lucky to even find something at 2AM!!

Disrespectful and very rude. I came back to my room and was Harassed by the manager asking me unnecessary questions about my room or if I stayed there and had the nervous to call a secretary person on me when I told him I got a room paid for and was coming back to my room. That he can watch me use my key to get in. But that didn't stop him from keep disrespecting me.

This hotel is placed in an extremely bad and unsafe location. This area is known for prostitutes walking the streets. Even though there are attempts to detour the prostitutes by law enforcement, the hotel itself is very run down and not upkept. There is only a stairway leading up to 3 floors, so it also definitely do not support people with disabilities. Entering the room makes you not want to be there and enjoy your stay because of the interior/exterior conditions of the place. Definitely will not return!

The hotel room smells horrible the sheets has stains on them the door barely locks there are men standing outside the rooms all hours of the night not to mention the bathroom smells like rust and it wasn’t even clean. I do not recommend that anyone stay here, if I could give zero stars I would.

Rooms were affordable, and everyone including the front desk and the cleaning ladies were great. I absolutely will be coming back. The atmosphere was quiet and my room was always clean.

The staff is very friendly everybody was professional and nice. I HATE IT THAT THE CORPORATION OF OYO HAVE TO SPOIL IT I'VE BEEN SCAMMED BY THEM THEY CHARGED MY CARD TWICE THEY REFUSED TO LET MY MONEY GO IT BEEN OVER A WEEK. EVERY TIME I CALL AND ASK THEM THEY REFUSE TO ACKNOWLEDGE IT. I BOOKED THERE FOR 2 WEEKS STRAIGHT YOU DON'T GET NO REWARDS OR NO PROMOTION WHATSOEVER. I TRIED IT BELIEVE ME AND GOT TO NOTHING AT ALL. THE PEOPLE YOU TALKING TO OVER THE PHONE IS IN THE THIRD WORLD COUNTRY.. ALL THEY WANT IS YOUR MONEY THEY DON'T CARE ABOUT NOTHING ELSE. AND I HATE IT HOW THEY ATTITUDE MESSING UP OVER THE GOOD STAFF AT OU ON THE SOUTHWEST SIDE THAT WAS VERY FRIENDLY VERY KIND EACH AND EVERYONE OF THEM

Terrible staff and management. Fired my mother in law for no true reason or explanation. The staff here is running their own corrupt show and they will be met with at court. Avoid this location.
