I recently stayed at the Aloft Galleria and had a great experience overall. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, making check-in smooth and ensuring I had everything I needed throughout my stay. Their hospitality truly stood out and made me feel at home. The location is fantastic, conveniently close to shopping and dining options, which made getting around easy. The hotel itself has a trendy and modern vibe, and the lobby and common areas are well-maintained. The only downside is that the rooms could use a bit of an update. While they were clean and comfortable, they could use some updates, that as a season traveler, I know come from wear and tear: fresh paint, peeling wallpaper... However, this didn’t take away from the overall comfort of my stay. If you’re looking for a convenient and friendly place to stay near the Galleria, Aloft is a solid choice. I’d definitely return, especially for the excellent customer service!

I like the front desk and my room is very clean and comfortable with bottle water and a coffee machine. The best part is My dog stay FREE. The location is great because it’s so convenient to get to my friend’s house and River oak area. The only downside is that race cars, motorcycles and teenagers gathering in a plaza next to Aloft and their mufflers create so much noise. I couldn’t sleep until 2am due to the commotion. I hope the hotel install better noise reduction windows in the future

Hotel was old and smelled of mildew. The paint on the floor was stained and had rust on them . The wood on the tables were chipped . TV was tiny and crooked . Roof looked like it had been repainted 50000 times . Not to mention the lobby was outdated and had chipped paint on the front desk . Bathroom door in the bathroom didn’t even work . Workers don’t even wear uniforms . Room phone doesn’t work either . Major safety concern . Walked 4 mins to the Hyatt place and paid LESS… Conceirge was top tier , rooms were clean , walk in granite tile in showers . No rust in sight . LED mirrors and free breakfast . Also complimentary refreshments waiting as you arrive .

My stay at Aloft Houston by the Galleria was overall a great experience. The room was neat, clean, and welcoming, providing a comfortable space to relax. The hotel’s modern vibe and convenient location were definite highlights. The only downside was the breakfast, which was less than satisfactory. I expected a better selection and quality for the price. Aside from that, everything else was enjoyable, and the staff was friendly and accommodating. Would stay again, but I’d probably look for breakfast elsewhere.

As a bus driver for tour groups I’ve stayed all over the country in different hotels. This one was great! The beds and pillows were the most comfortable I’ve ever slept in! Thank you for a great stay!

Terrible experience. Had a training class that started on Wednesday morning. I checked into my hotel on Tuesday afternoon so I could be at the training at 8 AM the next morning. The staff was very pleasant, however, they were not aware of any training classes in their location. I got up the next morning to attend my 8:00 AM class. But again, no one knew where the class was, or had no notice that there was even a class scheduled, and there was no contact information to check with anyone. Here I am in a hotel, a crappy hotel at that, and not even sure that I’m gonna be able to attend a training that I paid over $2000 for. The training room was supposed to be open at 7:30 for a continental breakfast in the training class. At 8 AM the trainer shows up, but the class had not been prepared, the continental breakfast did not arrive in the class until 915 which was supposed to be there at 7:30, and it all went downhill from there. There is no restroom on the same floor as the training room. You have to go down six floors to find a restroom to use for the training class.||The guest rooms are extremely outdated. There’s no restaurant in the hotel, so you have to go four blocks to be able to get food. There are no ice machines on any of the floors and there is no water available unless you purchase it. If you do not have a vehicle and it’s raining outside or handicapped, you’re not gonna eat that day unless you pay three dollars for a small bag of chips or want drink your troubles away at their bar.||Overall, for the price of this room, which is over $200 a night, it was a huge waste of money. The rooms are extremely outdated and it appears they tried to repaint some of the ceilings in the room, but the paint is bubbling, and there are absolutely no amenities in the room. They do have a small refrigerator, but there is no microwave for the price of the room, we definitely expected so much more. I would not recommend this hotel at all. There is too much competition in this area to stay here.

Recently checked in here for a business trip. I only needed to stay one night and quite literally only slept and showered here. So while I was very unhappy with the room, it wasn't worth arguing for a change when I was only going to be there for 10 hours. But now, since my billing is off and trying to get it fixed several times, I feel like complaining. 1. The room smelled moldy and my TV screen was on the outs and tinted purple. The paint was peeling all over the shower and the open concept bathroom reminded me of the communal showers in college. There was no bath rug to put down. Towels were very thin and super scratchy. It was loud. I was woken up several times throughout the night with city traffic outside. I've lived in the Manhattan area. I'm not a stranger to noise, but a hotel should have some sound proofing. Finally, the AC didn't work. Sure, it was on, and it was doing something... but I'm not sure what that something was. It definitely wasn't cooling the room. 2. The lobby at first glance looked cool and modern. It looked like it was going for the shabby industrial vibe, but after 2 minutes of being at the desk, you realize it's not a vibe... it's just falling apart. 3. Their billing is messed up. They bill you then credit you, which I'm fine with, as most hotels do this. But theirs is all over the place. Additionally, I brought a state tax exempt form with me and handed it in. I watched the man place the form in it's designated spot and all was good. It was good until I checked out and noticed that, yeap it was taken off, but instead I was charged the exact same amount in a Dinners Intl fee. I called to ask what that was and was told it was the bar/convenience store. The only problem is, I never even stepped foot in either of those. Then she came back and said it was the state tax. I said no, because it was taken off when I provided the form. Then she said she couldn't find the form I handed in. Then she said she would just send me an updated invoice. There were 5 invoices sent. None of them were correct. I'm just gonna pay the $7.50 state tax because this back and forth is stupid. 4. Additionally, both my coworkers also had billing issues. One was double charged for parking and the key card didn't work and the other had the same Dinners Intl fee but a different amount. He also had some other, weird billing policy thing happen, but I think he got his straightened out. None of us were happy with our rooms or the environment, so the next time we come into town (every couple of months), we'll stay somewhere else. The rest of our coworkers stayed at another nearby hotel for cheaper and it was MUCH nicer.

Unclean Room & Poor Customer Service I checked into the Aloft Houston on January 28th and was immediately disappointed by the cleanliness of my room—my bed sheets had visible stains. Since it was already 11 PM and housekeeping was gone for the night, I had to go downstairs myself to get a new comforter. Rhonda Bendele, the General Manager, assured me I would be reimbursed for one night due to the inconvenience. I was patient and gave the hotel time to follow through, hoping to avoid posting a review. However, despite multiple follow-ups, I never received the refund or any further response. The lack of accountability and poor customer service make it hard to recommend this location. I expected better professionalism from Aloft, and I hope they take guest concerns more seriously in the future.
