Grand Villa Inn Galleria

I had an unbelievably difficult time finding an affordable room, every time I thought I found one the reviews swayed me away. So this was extremely last minute I was already in Houston when I reserved this room. I really enjoyed my stay, the room was very clean and the mattress had all the fittings paddings and what not I know that bed bugs in hotels are a big thing I don't really travel a lot but I know this so I checked before getting settled and nothing I didn't see not one critter in my room whole stay. The room had an adorable mini fridge and microwave I personally don't have a microwave but enjoy the convenience for trips so I had purchased some micro meals and found it a bit difficult but worked out in the end. It's located in what seems to be a great neighborhood. Not too from the galleria either. Check out and check in were a breeze. I personally didn't eat breakfast but my kids did I believe it was waffles, toast, sweet breads, bananas and some on the go snacks. Office and food court were nice and clean. When I visit again I will definitely now know where to stay. Wish I took photos I was definitely very pleased. Thank you for having us.

I stayed there for 2 nights. Clean room, good bathroom furniture. Several food options nearby. The service at the front desk was friendly. Maybe if there were more breakfast options I’d give it 5. A ver good option for a night in Houston.

The hotel is old, located in a good location.The room was clean and tidy.But the towels were worn out and stained. The toilet tank didn't flush, the receptionist said that this was a problem in all rooms. They fixed everything for us, but before the first flush(I would advise you to solve this problem, which you already know about.

On March 5, 2025, I was there for about 10 minutes. I got my key, and as I was leaving the lobby, the man behind me asked for a room for 2 hours. The receptionist, Amy, waited until I left to respond. As I went to my room, I saw the man enter another room. A few seconds later, a prostitute follow him into the same room. As I approached my room, the door was cracked open! It was dark and late, and I panicked. There could have been someone in there! I immediately turned in my key, shaking and horrified at both instances. I was told the manager would approve my refund, but they didn't! I paid to be shocked and terrified in that parking lot. I took a picture of the man's license plate for proof. I still want a refund.

I booked a stay here on Hotels.com. I had until 2pm to cancel the reservation and at 1:56, I made the request. The "virtual agent" got hung up and at 2:04, I finally called hotels.com. They called the Grand Villa Inn and requested a refund for me. It was denied. Not only was I only 4 minutes late with my second request, but it was not my fault that my first and legit cancellation request was not processed. The Grand Villa should have canceled the reservation.

This hotel is a 10/10 definitely recommend. Shen is so sweet and very welcoming worker. This hotel is always clean they always have refreshments in the morning. The prices are definitely worth it. I definitely love this hotel you will never be disappointed.

Usually the rooms are 90$ but when I came today there was only 1 room available and the guy jacked up the price to 120$. So they do price gouge when they can. I honestly don't recommend this place to anyone. SERIOUSLY

Please do not book this hotel. The staff was very rude and unprofessional. They will add charges after your reservation is booked, kick you out for no reason, and will not give you a refund. The staff should all undergo mandatory hospitality training immediately.
