Comfort Suites La Porte - Baytown

Stayed here while down in Houston. Within in 45 minutes of Downtown, NASA, and Galveston. Very quiet and right off a main HWY. Had a great breakfast and front desk staff very friendly and helpful. Some area of the hotel need a little maintenance, but rooms very clean and well kept. Really enjoyed my stay here and would stay here again when down in Houston.

I love the bed and the pillows are very comfortable are the main reason we always come back here when in La Porte. There maybe some issues like no toiletries or AC or shower dont work the way you want it to work but staffs are always nice and very approachable to make it right. The breakfast has scrambled eggs, bread and bagel, even has warm tortilla, waffles, cereals, fruits, yogurt, fresh milk, coffee, juice, sausage or patties, fried potato squares, and shredded cheese so you can make yourself breakfast tortilla wraps.

Amenities like hot tub doesn NOT work. Manager Ami told me that they don’t put on the website that the hot tub is NOT working because it takes to long to do it and then it takes too long remove it. She also told me that usually clients call to make sure it works. I guess it’s the Client responsibility to make sure that the hotel has everything that they show on the website. Lesson learned. Hotel hot tub does NOT work. We booked comfort suited because it’s close to NASA and offers hot tub for cold weather. I had to booked 2 night because the amount of hours of driving. Not having the hot tub that they offer in their website ruin big part of our trip and stay. We planned to arrive, hot tub, then dinner, next day NASA, restaurant and hot tub again. We end up that leave the hotel one night before without being able to find another hotel. All of that add stress, waste of time trying to find somewhere else to stay . We end up driving 5 hours back home. I wish they just could show what they really offer. During summers I make sure a book hotels with pool, in winter time with hot tub . My son and mother love doing that.

I stay at this hotel often. The staff from the manager down are top notch! They are always on top of the reservation changes I sometimes need to make and super friendly. The housekeeping staff is amazing. Rare is the time I need to request something that was missed. Maintenance is always quick to respond to any issues I’ve had. The rooms are clean and the renovations that were done were done well.

eh i can’t complain cheap price so cheap service but, food was pretty good tho! all workout machines broken, also like three cockroaches i witnessed. if you’re wanting to in this are it’s sooooo much more worth it to pay 30 more bucks a night at HOME2! that’s where i’ll be next time jajajaa.

This place is beautiful! Only downfalls I've seen are: our air conditioner leaks water all over the floor and the mini fridge had water standing in the freezer portion and doesn't keep things cool. Other than that, they offer a cute snack bar, an incredible breakfast display and comfy beds. Definitely recommend this place!!!

super nice crew home feeling very clean lots of channels pool was perfect the hot tub was great for the heat Not to warm not over heated clean towels and plenty , awesome100 breakfast real oj. eggs bacon biscuit and gravy I can go on and on this is one of my favorite hotels close to hwy 225 and 146 and the beach great location so many different stores and shops my scooter needed parts Jenna Walter's employee went outta her way to oriellies auto store to get the parts I needed and I was back on the road and didn't miss my meeting thanks Jenna w. if I've ever had such a wonderful experience as I have with this hotel I give them a 10 on scale 1-10 and not high in price very fair for service I received it's a 2.5 star hotel with 5.9 service large comfortable clean fresh beds pillows just the right amount of space to relax and unwind rooms are very spacious and not cramped I love this hotel and I am coming to stay at this location everytime I come to this side of town

Arrived at midnight and the customer service was great. But, went down hill from there. The elevator was broken. The outlets did not work. The carpet was stained red in front of the refrigerator. The tiles in the bathroom were loose. And on the last day I called the front desk for coffee and he told me he would not bring it to my room but I could go downstairs and get it from the front desk. Will definitely not stay here again!
