NillI have stayed at this room before and this was our second time staying. The first time was decent and there weren't many major issues.. however this time was a little different.. the front desk lady was very polite upon check-in and gladly accommodated us in changing the room to a downstairs room due to there being no elevator and my mother can't go up stairs. The location is great especially since it is located next to Golden Corral.. the only real problem I had with this visit is that when we woke up in the morning, we realized the window had no screen on it and it was unlocked. That was very concerning to me considering I had my grandchildren and my mother with me. I let the front desk know and stated that maybe housekeeping should make it part of their routine to check the window locks because that was dangerous and we were not safe and didn't know it. I was not very happy about this at all. The breakfast is good and the facility is clean.

★★Smells clean, but the maintenance (or lack thereof) is obvious. There's no carpet in the rooms - I assume to make things easier to sanitize. Bit the attention to detail is way off. The free breakfast isn't that great - below average, even the coffee is weak! It seems that every corner has been cut to save on expenses.|*** There's not an elevator either.

NillRoom was clean and bed was really comfortable with thick warm blankets!! I was in room 121. I checked in on 12/17/24 and the evening front desk person was super friendly and efficient!! She got me in the room so quick!! And she also recognized me as a diamond member by handing me a welcome gift bag! Great experience at this Lubbock quality inn!!

★★★★I arrived before 9 pm and front desk had a room ready for me in 5 minutes. Rooms are very clean although dated. The only unfortunate part of my stay was that the person in next Mr room was very noisy and woke me up at 3:30 am. Nevertheless, the front desk had breakfast ready at 6 am sharp. The hot breakfast has scrambled eggs, waffles, toast , bagels, muffins , and hot coffee/tea/chocolate. On the cold side, there is juice, yogurt, and cereal. I do have to say the person at the front desk, Brie was awesome. She helped me regarding info of things to do while in Lubbock area and went out of her way to print directions and contact info. Brie is very personable and a valuable asset to Quality Inn putting on a happy face to keep guests happy!

★★★★★Positive: The mattress and pillows were comfortable Negative: It was dirty everywhere. In our room, the floor was dirty, tiles were coming up which was a tripping hazard, there was hair in the tub & sink, the ice box was dirty, the mirrors and tv screen were dirty & streaked. It was gross and unclean.

NillI was thoroughly disappointed in my stay. The floor was busted in our room, there was NO water between 11 AM-7PM everyday, there was trash left on the windowsill, doors on the furniture were broken off, no water, there was no elevator, the sheets were ripped, and there was no water. Did you know that the Sahara Desert gets 3 inches of rain each year? So for most of the day, the Sahara Desert was likely to have more water than this hotel. Apparently a pipe busted 2 weeks before our stay. They had to shut off the water "between 11AM and 5PM" but "it actually probably won't come on until sometime around 7PM". They've been doing this every day since the pipe busted. We asked for a refund and hoped we could scramble and find a different place to stay that night. The man at the front desk acted shocked that we would ask for a refund. He "had no authority to do anything financial" and there was nothing he could do. Because there was no water, we could not shower, get water to drink, or use any toilets in the whole building. We could, however, buy bottles of water at the front desk. The management tried to play this off as a fact-of-life inconvenience that was outside of their control. There should have been ample notice before checkin and offers for refunds. I have stayed in a wide range of hotels. I was not expecting the Ritz-Carlton. I was just expecting the life sustaining necessities: a roof over my head, heat, and water....

NillFor the price, the place is great. That said, I had the same issue others had; housekeeping walked in on me while 💩 at 11am on day one (first room had no security latch) The second day they tried to do it again. Edit: I had to change this place from 3 stars to 5. I'm back, and forth, in between cities right now, and have stayed here several more nights. Clay and Jemmia (sp) have been beyond helpful, and courteous. This time, hotelsugogo (I don't recommend them) failed to send my reservation, and gave me a hard time. Jemmia spent her time talking with them, and Erica, the GM, trying to get it resolved. They finally sent the reservation, and Jemmia apologized profusely, while promptly getting me into a room. Please note!! The 5 stars isn't for the room. That is about 3 stars. While they have all the amenities you might need, they are slightly dated, and cleanliness could be better. That said, if you need a warm shower, warm/clean bed, fridge/microwave, etc., and are not terribly OCD, this place will work just fine. As for my original comment, I have started putting the 'do not disturb' tag on the door, and staff leaves me alone until check out.

NillEverything was fine, until 10:09am when the front desk decided to call, wake us up and ask if we were checking out or extending. Check out is at noon. After telling them we were checking out we proceeded to rest a little more as we have a long drive ahead of us. About 20 mins later they called AGAIN to ask if we were checking out or extending. At this time we confirmed check out is at 12:00pm. I’m not sure why they felt the need to call TWICE, but we found it to be very rude.
