avid hotel Odessa Northwest, an IHG Hotel

Interesting concept. There are not a lot of extras, but what they do, they do well. The room is clean, crisp and functional. Floors are laminate - not carpet. That felt super clean to me, but might be off-putting to some. Bed was super comfy. Breakfast was good and packaged to go.

I had a great stay at the Avid when I was in Odessa on Business. Checking in and out was quick and easy and the staff was friendly. The room was clean and comfortable. I appreciate there is no carpet in the room and I liked the little bench to set my suitcase on and hooks on the wall to hang my jacket and bag on. The Wi-fi was great for me to do work in my room. The grab and go breakfast was minimal, but adequate for what I needed. There were no lids for the coffee cups which was a little inconvenient if you are planning on taking it to-go. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

The beds are very comfortable. The TVs are a decent size and I really enjoyed a choice of fruit make coffee was pretty good and there are three different choices of creamer to choose from. I really like that idea. I also thought the front desk staff was friendly and welcoming.

I love this hotel. I got spoiled at the one in Midland having a few extra towels in room already, make up remover and shoe shine. But this is my favorite location to stay at. Always friendly helpful and it’s so clean. I would stay with Avid anywhere they have locations with the three experiences I’ve had. Wonderful stay, safe and so clean. I hope guest help keep it this way

Best experience I’ve ever had I stayed here for business and the staff is awesome breakfast is amazing. The front desk lady named jay was so nice and respectful she really helped me out, and pointed me to some great food places. I even got to meet the maintenance man named Rene great guy very respectful from my home town to. It was an overall great stay I would highly recommend this place to anyone, I’m definitely coming back real soon I told my boss this the only place I’d like to stay for work. Thanks again avid team yall are awesome keep up the good work!!

This hotel is awesome!!! Thanks to jay at the desk she told me about some good spots to eat close by and they were awesome the other staff were very friendly and nice as well. I even met the maintenance man named Rene he was cool and helped me out with my a/c that I didn’t know how to work it very well . But yes this place is nice I would recommend this place anyone!!!

I was very satisfied with the great customer service I received from Sunny, LaLa,Rene’, Jaya , and Brie, the manager. They were very attentive with any issues/concerns during the entire course of my stay. They really promote a caring and supportive friendly atmosphere . I will continue to make Avid Hotel my choice of hotel for travel destinations!!

This property is cost efficient very clean modern and the staff are very friendly. This is the first hotel that gave me a courtesy call to make sure I was able to get settled in and comfortable in my room. I really appreciate that and wish other hotels would do the same.
