Positive: Breakfast was very good.?many selections and kept clean! Loved the flowers and landscaping and pool looked nice! Negative: The cars on the street had very loud pipes! Hotel can?t control that! My sink and toilet needed updating. Bed and pillows were very comfortable!

My boyfriend and I drove for 6 1/2 hours when we arrived. It was close to 3am. The beds, oh my goodness. It was the best sleep in my 38 years of living. The breakfast was so good, I felt like I was at a restaurant and the employees, go to Rose, she’s the rose of Baymont. Good prices, great location. I swear this. You will love your stay at baymont.

We originally arrived and check in went over well. We went to the room and the card would not work. I had to go back down to the lobby and get it recoded. After going back upstairs the card still didn't work for about 3 minutes of trying and then it worked and we were able to get in right as I was about to go back down. On the second day upon returning to our room after a great day out, the card still didn't work, I went back downstairs and the clerk recoded the card and blamed it on being near a cell phone.. still didn't work so I had to go back downstairs as my wife was waiting by the door because she needed to urgently go to the restroom. The staff was in no hurry to assist us and tried replacing the batteries and recoding the door handle to no avail. They finally used some tool and slid it under the door to open the handle from the inside. My wife and I didn't want to stay another night and asked to cancel and be refunded and they refused stating they are not responsible for the equipment and because they have power issues messaging with the doors, which I don't understand because they are powered by AA batteries.. overall the room was decent, stains on the couch and empty soap bottles in the shower. The staff and customer service need more help. We will not be staying here again and would not recommend this place to anyone due to the abundance of better hotels nearby for better prices emnemities and service.

I must admit that I didn't know about the Tyler Baymont until recently. Most of the hotels in south Tyler are around Broadway/69 and it had never occurred to me that there might be a south Tyler hotel on 155. I found it quite by accident and I'm truly glad I did. I drove up from San Antonio and had several things I needed to take care of in south Tyler and in Flint. The Baymont was the perfect location for both, and without all of the traffic you find on Broadway. Too, there are several excellent restaurants close to the hotel. There was plenty of parking and I was pleasantly surprised by the room. The bed was large and comfortable. The bathroom was large, with a lot of amenities, large towels and seemingly unlimited hot water. There was a small refrigerator and microwave, making it possible for me to "eat in" on nights when I didn't want to go out. The Baymont offers a complementary breakfast every morning. The coffee was good and so was the food, albeit nothing fancy. Among other things, they had fresh fruit, waffles, cereal, juice, tortillas and etc. I strongly encourage you to try the biscuits. They're not available every morning and you can't wait until the last minute or they'll all be gone, but they're worth it! Although I didn't use them, the Baymont also has a laundry, ATM, pool, and several other amenities. Overall, the one thing that made the Tyler Baymont stand out to me was the people that work there. Every person I came in contact with was friendly, kind, helpful and willing to do whatever they could for me. The night I arrived I was so tired I could barely stand. I wanted to check in and go to bed. Subsequent days were so busy that I just wanted to be left alone. I doubt I was the best guest. Despite that, the staff was unfailingly kind and helpful. For that reason alone, I'll always choose the Baymont when I'm in Tyler. That the rooms and breakfast are so good is simply a bonus! Thanks, guys. Amy

I haven't had the best experience at Wyndham hotels in the past, but Amy and her team definitely changed that. They were very attentive, friendly and went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable. Clean rooms, adequate breakfast, good water pressure, comfortable bed and they helped fix an issue with the TV very quickly. I will definitely stay here again. Thank you to Amy and all of her staff for providing a great stay while in Tyler.

Great experience! Staff are very friendly and welcoming. I have stayed Sunday through Friday for the past 7 weeks. Everything worked as it should. I bring a fan everywhere i go to sleep, so the sounds of traffic weren't a problem as others have stated. The breakfast performed as expected.

Comfy enough when you need to sleep. Easy access as its right off the highway. Price is right. Now for the downer: worst hotel breakfast I've ever seen. Biscuits were still cold from the freezer, but a quick zap in the microwave and a sausage patty made a serviceable sandwich. Plus: yogurt and bananas were good. Coffee machine where you choose your brew. It might be just an operator error (me) but my coffee was see through. Uck.

Located close to numerous stores and restaurants, this is a clean, comfortable and quiet place to stay even on a Saturday night. The pillows, pillow top thick mattress and bedding was very comfortable, which is the most important to me. Staff was respectful, courteous and quick to be helpful. All in all it was a great stay during the Azalea Festival.
