Holiday Inn Tyler - Conference Center by IHG

I rolled into Tyler at the end of day 2 of a cross country road trip (north to south, this time). I was driving a custom off road Jeep, so I was whipped! The hotel is located in the heart of restaurant row and easy to find. Parking was ample. I was greeted by a tall, very lean lady with a delightful African accent. Her customer service could make a high-end hotel's concierge blush! Outstanding!! My room was immaculate. The AC cold & quiet. I slept like a rock for 10 hrs! The Breakfast buffet was a bit small, but very good for an "included" meal. Check-out was super easy; I just dropped the key and received an equally sincere salutation from the morning front desk staff. Either Tyler is full of truly wonderful people or this is property enjoys a world class General Manager.... or both! God bless Texas!

This was my best ever service I have ever had at a hotel. The staff was phenomenal and worked hard to make sure me and my family felt comfortable. We forgot some things and they helped us out by making sure we had toiletries. They also helped us print something for our son. They really love us and they treated us like family. Breakfast was amazing and the care and attention to detail by the staff was five star level!

Aesthetically the properties appealing, it has a convention center, pool and some decent amenities. But the remodel did not go well. Bedrooms are decent size and the bathrooms are tiny compared to other places I've stayed. And whoever they used for their most recent remodel did a terrible job. I had an okay stay, would not have a problem staying here again, I just think they need to get someone here to fix a bunch of the nitty stuff to really make the place a quality place to stay, a quality Holiday Inn in good condition.

I had an excellent experience at Holiday Inn Tyler, thanks to Katrin’s outstanding service. Her professionalism, kindness, and attention to detail truly made my stay special. She went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect, creating a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere. Katrin’s dedication to customer service is remarkable, and she is a true asset to the hotel. I highly recommend this location, especially because of her exceptional hospitality!

After a long and frustrating day dealing with multiple overbooked hotels—one of which actually confirmed my reservation and then turned me away upon arrival—I was completely exhausted and at my wit’s end. Then came Genesis, the absolute gem at the front desk of the Holiday Inn.||She picked up the phone right away, kindly confirmed they had a room available, and welcomed me with warmth and genuine compassion. Her kindness truly turned my night around. She even offered me a complimentary breakfast to help make my stay more comfortable—an unexpected and much-appreciated gesture.||The room was clean, the bed was incredibly comfortable, and everything looked recently updated and well-maintained. I finally felt like I could breathe and relax.||I will absolutely be back—and I hope Genesis is working when I return. She is the kind of person who makes a lasting impression and reminds you what true hospitality looks like.

Front Desk Clerk was extremely professional and supportive. The beds were comfortable and extraordinarily clean. The entire hotel exceptional! You MUST stay here! I promise you will not be disappointed!! Excellent price!

This was my first time staying here and I loved it so much that I drove an extra 2 hours late at night to stay at this hotel instead of the one I had planned on staying at. I'm a frequent business traveler and have stayed at many nice hotels over the years, but never have I stayed at a place where every single staff member greeted me with a smile and was so welcoming. I felt welcomed and safe. They had multiple staff working the front desk so there was never any waiting upon check-in or check-out. I even received a call prior to my stay acknowledging being a rewards member and confirming my stay. Other than not being able to turn down my AC in this particular room past 68 (was not an issue when I stayed in a separate room during another stay), everything else was amazing and I will recommend to everyone I know.

I attended a women’s ministry conference. The hotel manager and her staff are very passionate about customer service! I didn’t stay in a room, but I had positive feedback from others. The food was prepared and served well. The hotel is extremely clean, and conference rooms are comfortable. It’s a great location for all Tyler activities.
