Staybridge Suites Tyler University Area by IHG

I recently booked this property as my daughter had a gymnastics meet that went very late in Tyler and we didn't want to drive the two hours back home at midnight. I was not expecting for the staff to be so kind past 11p - front desk was lovely, our room was impeccably clean and the bed was comfortable. We slept great and took off early the next morning. There was a full kitchen which we did not utilize, but overall, this property has great amenities and it a great stay near the convention center or if you are in need of a larger room for family or extended stay.

Service was excellent. Stay was perfect and convenient. We were there to be close while parent was in hospital for procedure and short stay. Great home like atmosphere. Able to bring my pittie. Well lit areas. Areas for pet was great and clean! Will be going back to stay when parent goes in for next procedure. Overall great experience. I prefer a hard bed. Theirs was only slight soft which is probably to be a better convenience for all. So still a 10 in my book! Thanks for a great stay!

Our stay was a great experience do to the clean rooms bathe room fast and welcoming employees at the front desk. Comfortable bed living area in the suite and decent tv channels as well. I would definitely recommend this hotel and will be staying at this location on my next trip to the area for sure!

My stay was great and I will choose this location if I am in the area again. Over the top customer service from the front desk staff Michael. Its hard to find good customer service in lot of places but Michael made sure you felt welcome and was comfortable with your stay. If you had questions about the property he did not hesitate to answer. My only cons were the limited television choices which led me to watch television from my MacBook and the coffee was not that hot one morning. The evening social is an added bonus if you do not feel like going out to eat. Breakfast is my reason for staying at Staybridge because they offer strawberries and blueberries, the other IHG properties do not have these choices. Stephanie

Great room and yummy breakfast with friendly staff! The coke machine is a nice touch. The beds were good but the pillows were terrible. My kids luckily brought their own pillows but my husband and I woke up with terrible neck pain. We will be back…but will bring pillows! Tip: get to breakfast early because I dont think they restocked throughout. We ate at 8:30 and they were already out of milk. I went back for my son to eat closer to 9:30 and they were totally out of bacon and yogurt and little fruit and bread was left. The worker was replenishing the napkins and forks but not food.

The double bedroom suite is a great option for families. The king bed in our room was exceptional and probably one of the most comfortable hotels beds we have slept on in years. The swimming pool was unavailable due to contamination by Spring Breakers. I understand this was out of control of the hotel, but my 6 year old grandson was heart broken as we had been talking about going swimming all week We really enjoyed the breakfast and social hour food and spirits. This is one of the main reasons we stay at Staybridge.

Loved the style and decor of the room. Bed was comfy and amenities were nice. Check in was easy breezy. Enjoyed the free breakfast-had lots of options. Even a soda machine! Would definitely return and recommend.
