Hilton Garden Inn Morgantown

This is the best Hilton Hotel I have experienced ever! They give out breakfast cereal like lucky charms, cheerios, Cinnamon Toast Crunch, etc. They also have a buffet. Everything is low price, and the location is perfect. It is surrounded by a Buffalo Wild Wings, the town center, a McDonald’s, and a gas station a few yards away from the hotel. There is a five guys, a bar, and they even have their own store. What? Even a donut shop is nearby. The variety of topic I want to say as a 12 year old is comical. The seats are comfy, good tv channels, and the hotel design is heaven on this green earth. At first, I was unsure about the hotel, as I don’t have a good history with hotels. They have their own pool, a whirlpool and a hot tub! The staff is incredibly friendly, they hang out with you on their break, and they seem like you made a best friend in a few minutes, Because you did. Best hotel ever, enjoy your stay!

It's very sad to say this used to be my favorite place to stay when we visited my family in Morgantown. I will now not return. I don't even know where to start. I'm tempted to contact Hilton customer service to get a partial refund.||They've renovated the hotel, but it was better before. The bathroom is small, the water doesn't get hot, and they removed the whirlpool tubs from the deluxe king room. I'm not sure why they would've done that because now there's just an empty space where it used to be. But with no hot water and a dark, small bathroom it hardly feels like a renovation.||We didn't get a bottle of water so we asked Raquel downstairs. She said they were out of bottled water, but she would try to find some if we wanted. We went to the bar for a drink. Had the worst old-fashioned I've ever had. I asked for a top shelf bourbon that they said they had, but I got the rock gut kind instead. My husband asked for a Diet Coke, which they were apparently out of. They had no diet sodas whatsoever.|The bartender was kind enough to give my husband peanuts. ||The HVAC in the room was noisy and sounded like it was going to break any minute. If they just renovated, why did they not upgrade the HVAC system?||The lighting in the rooms is dimmer than it was before. The king deluxe has nothing deluxe at all. There's just more floor space in case you want to do summersalts. ||We used to really enjoy this hotel and the service was always great. They had a nice bar where you could get a drink and a snack. It seems like there may be management issues.||We won't be back, and with the experiences I've had at Hilton's over the last year. I'm not sure I want to even continue to use the brand.|M

I was in Morgantown for an extended visit with my mom, who lives in town. An (unexpected by me) snow and ice storm blew in and across my route home at the end of my stay. The managers made special provisions to make certain that they had adequate staff coverage to take care of the many guests (the hotel was sold out) who were snowed in. I stay at this hotel frequently, and always get great service, but this was a new level of concern and helpfulness, particularly considering the weather conditions. ||The renovated facilities are great, and are a significant upgrade to the hotel.||I particularly appreciate the efforts of Gene, Nate, Raquell, Ashton, Carissa, Rilie, and the kitchen staff to be certain that I was comfortable and had everything I needed, and even have fun during my stay.

great spot to stay, very clean me and my GF, one night - jacuzzi and everything. good uber/lyft location from downtown too. Wish it was a little cheaper but that’s straight.. 4.5/5💪

Super convenient hotel with clean rooms and friendly staff. Located inside a large shopping plaza, Buffalo Wild Wings is within 100 ft of the front door and there’s numerous restaurants and stores within a 3 min drive. The hotel has a bar and restaurant in the lobby plus a nice pool and hot tub. It was about a 10 min Lyft ride to the WVU Stadium for a basketball game, and is likely about that to the football stadium as well.

Very clean, quiet, comfortable hotel. Had everything we needed. Beds were comfortable, was easy to sleep. The staff were incredibly friendly, helpful and welcoming. Plenty of desk space next to the TV so I could work. They offered a discount for us since we were there for WVU.||We stayed in a double Queen room and the beds were plenty big enough for two people. ||The TV doesn’t have Netflix or any apps so bring a laptop with an HDMI cable or another streaming device if you want to watch something other than live tv, otherwise it is great quality, my only complaint is there wasn’t an option to lower the refresh rate so everything you watch has the “soap opera” effect.||The Ethernet port didn’t work for the internet, but I’m not even sure if it was meant to be used for the internet so I can’t even complain about that.||They were very accommodating and gave us a 1PM late checkout to give us plenty of time to finish work and get everything packed.||They have a fitness area and a pool that we didn’t use but they looked very well maintained.||They were doing renovations when we stayed so the parking lot was a little challenging but nothing that hindered our trip.||Overall great hotel, any complaints we had were negligible and not even anything to really complain about out.||Would definitely stay again!

Positive: You are located right in the middle of where we need to be. We come up a few times a year for Special Olympics Basketball tournaments at the WVU Rec Center. Always a pleasant stay! Negative: ""

The staff is wonderful . . . . helpful, welcoming and cheerful!|The dining and breakfast options are yummy. Fitness room |and pool are well maintained.|The hotel is in a great location close to lots of shopping and |restaurants. The hotel has recently been renovated and |is very comfortable.
