Candlewood Suites Eau Claire I-94, an IHG Hotel

We had decided to spend a few days with family in Iowa. We had stopped at the Mall of America on the way back home to Door County Wisconsin. After spending an anxiety filled day in Minnesota we had not wanted to travel the almost six hours drive back home to Wisconsin. | My wife had stumbled across the Candlewood Suites in Eau Claire. The price was right and it was right off the main highway to home. Upon checking in we were greeted by Louisa at the front desk. She was very knowledgeable of the hotel, and answered all of our questions with a smile. Our room was very easy to find on the second floor. The room was very clean. The bed was extremely soft and comfortable. The bathroom comes equipped with Dove body wash, shampoo, and conditioner. The room also featured a full refrigerator. Ice cube maker in the freezer. It also has a stovetop for cooking. Along with pots and pans as well. We take a vacation once a year; generally around Thanksgiving. But we were both so impressed by this property, that we booked a second day. Having down time in a clean room is a must for us. Candlewood definitely came through. If your travelling for business or pleasure; and need a nice place to stay at a nice price. This should be on the top of your checklist. Thanks Louisa again for all your help and understanding. We will most certainly be back the next time we are in the Eau Claire area !!!

I've stayed multiple times at this hotel so I'm just going to copy my previous review that I thoughtfully wrote: From a family with young children with a dog, we really appreciated the stay. They don't use a nasty pack'n'play like most hotels, but they have a metal collapsable crib that rolls and very convenient. We really appreciated the kitchen provided, along with all the necessary cooking accessories. Even provided salt and pepper! They even have a dish washer!!!!!! We were very impressed.

From a family with young children with a dog, we really appreciated the stay. They don't use a nasty pack'n'play like most hotels, but they have a metal collapsable crib that rolls and very convenient. We really appreciated the kitchen provided, along with all the necessary cooking accessories. Even provided salt and pepper! They even have a dish washer!!!!!! We were very impressed.

Seems to be getting worse and worse if you're expecting them to clean your rooms at all fresh towels, toilet paper etc. Don't come here then. If you don't care about those things you might enjoy your stay as long as you're on top floor. Noise travels horrible there and the light in the kitchen shakes every time someone is walking above you. They say they clean once a week but for my room at least they didn't. That is even asking front desk for it more then once. It does seem pretty clean at least and few wash and dryer. Workers are friendly just not helpful lol. Was staying here for work but changing hotels for the rest of my stay.

This was a very clean quiet and friendly hotel. The beds are comfortable, shower nice and lots of room. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. The price was very affordable and it is in a good part of town next to lots of shops and restaurants.|We definitely will be staying here again!

Warm and genuine greeting. Kyra was wonderful. Acknowledged us as IHG members. Most importantly she treated us as long ago friends and missed family members. Our Room was perfect, clean. Appreciate the amenities. Location easy access for highway, not lacking in available amenities. Good restaurants nearby. Good shopping nearby.

Love this hotel! It’s quiet, clean, convenient to everything I’m there for. The front desk staff is always friendly and professional. It’s close to both my daughters and granddaughters. It’s definitely my go to place to stay when visiting.

We were very satisfied with our night away. The room was spacious. The staff was nice. I thought I left my car keys back in the room and he came up with me and spent time looking for them with me. That was very kind and appreciated.
