Milwaukee Marriott West

Really, the hotel was mostly great. But the basics were not being met as far as hotels go. The water was so bad, brown out of the sinks and green in the tub and shower. I broke out in a rash because of the showers, skin was irritated. Fill up the tub, youll see green. And if your skin burns or you break out its probably the water. At a hotel, of course you need a bed, - clean, quiet and dark... and a shower. If one of those components isn't there, it's defeats the other nice things about the hotel. Employees were great, hotel is otherwise nice, room had a huge lovely window to look out of...but the water situation was bad. Management and maintenance were were understanding but also dismissive. They tried to work with me, but were apprehensive about admitting there was a problem. The pool wasn't green, hot tub wasn't green, and the tub water absolutely was. I even cleaned the tub and filled it a few times to make sure. Disappointed, would be hesitant to stay at any Marriott after this.

The hotel looks immaculate on the outside and in the shared areas, but the rooms were not as nice. Bed was comfy, view was great, and the toilet looked like it had to think about flushing. The mini-fridge is hidden behind a false dresser drawer, and our food/drinks never got cold - just cool. Overall, just your average hotel.

I am staying at the Marriott Milwaukee West, and I cannot recommend this place enough! The hotel is beautifully decorated. The staff went above and beyond to ensure a fantastic experience, but I have to give a special shoutout to Jack at the front desk. Jack was incredibly professional, friendly, and helpful from the moment we arrived. He made the check-in process seamless and went out of his way to accommodate our needs, ensuring we felt truly welcomed. It’s rare to find someone who genuinely enjoys making guests feel at home, but Jack embodies this perfectly. Overall, this hotel exceeded my expectations in every way. If you’re looking for a top-notch place to stay in Milwaukee with exceptional service, don’t hesitate to book here. Thank you, Marriott Milwaukee West team, and especially Jack, for a wonderful experience so far.

Room wasn’t the nicest, hair was on the bed and pillows as if the sheets and pillow cases weren’t changed since the previous guest. Looking up while laying in bed felt like you were laying in a dirt cheap motel because of the terrible patch work on the ceiling and chunks of the ceiling were missing. Restaurant was so good. The hotel was nice and clean in the public areas. Staff were so kind. Check in was a breeze.

Stayed here once with family while here for a wedding, good service to guests and things to do like a pool and restaurant. Large convention center and comfy rooms. WIFI is good to connect to. Only drawback is it’s a little on a the pricey side. Will gladly be back when I can!

Had to get a last minute room in Milwaukee on a busy weekend, this was very reasonable for a 4 star hotel and honestly not that far from the rest of the city on the interstate. The rooms are definitely a little older and due for an update. Other than that, plenty of parking, good value and nice and quiet for its size. Would stay here again.

Nikki Bennett the Sales and Catering Coordinator was amazing her entire staff made this easily a 4 star hotel in my opinion. Well maintained property, very clean rooms and outstanding place for business meeting.
