All of the staff were very unfriendly and unsociable. Beds/pillows were extremely uncomfortable. The pool and hot tub were closed most of our three day/night stay due to chemical imbalance. TV in the room was blurry and channels were all off in comparison to their printed guide. We were informed there was no house keeping for our stay unless we asked by 10am each day. 12” of snow fell prior to our visit and sidewalks were dangerous. Unshoveled and packed with snow. Breakfast wasn’t tended to properly. They would make waffle batter only when asked and did not clean the area consistently. On a positive note, the lobby had a generous ambiance of domestic and foreign mounts.

As part of our Glacier/GrandTeton/Yellowstone Bucket List Trip, we planned for two nights in Cody just to chill. We reserved the Grizzly Suite at AmericInn. We had a king bed in the bedroom and a separte living room with very comfy sofa/chair. First of all, CLEAN is a big thing for us, and this room was CLEAN. AC worked well. It was great to have the extra space as we had been on the road a lot. The lobby had tons of animals of the region ( stuffed ). The breakfast was OK, not great, but we don't do a lot for breakfast so it was not an issue for us. QUIET QUIET QUIET hotel. This review does not do it justice for sure. Just go. The Grizzly Suite was not a lot more than a standard room when we booked, which was months earlier. I would gladly stay there again.

Love this hotel and western vibe with all the animals. Rooms and bathrooms very clean. Room nice and spacious and quiet. Awesome BBQ restaurant in the same parking lot - "Bubba's" (Don't be put off by the name, GREAT food) |Don't know why folks diss breakfast - hot scrambled eggs, sausage or bacon, waffles, toast breads, bagels, muffins, cold cereal, coffee, juice. You've paid for it, why not eat here? We often didn't eat much for lunch, we ate so much here. |Warning: there is no elevator, not sure if they mention on the website. REQUEST a first floor room ahead of time, these rooms go very quickly! |We stayed here 3 times, as our home base for park forays, and would definitely stay here again.

My wife and I enjoyed our stay here the night of the Vance Walz VP debate, which we watched in our room. Yawn. Nice views out the window, clean and quiet large room, comfortable bed. Watch out though if you are an animal lover. You may not like seeing stuffed animals lining the walls of the breakfast room/lobby walls but your children will have fun with the help of the hotel supplied guidebook trying to find the various species of mountain goats, bears, wild sheep, birds antelopes and more. I liked this hotel.

We stayed there over the Christmas holiday and seemed to be the only ones there. Regardless the staff was so welcoming, and helpful. The pool was a great temperature and we enjoyed the hot tub. The breakfast is the typical hotel breakfast: waffles, eggs, sausage and cold options: yogurt, cereal, bagel ect. There is a continual tea and coffee cart in the lobby. Speaking of the lobby, it was beautifully decorated for the holidays. Thank you to the front desk staff: Janel, Jeanette and Sue for making our stay so pleasant! It’s located right in the main drive of Cody close to Anytime Fitness, a coffee hut, Walmart, a BBQ resturant and baring nice weather you could really walk to a few destinations nearby.

The staff were warm and friendly, always ready and willing to help. The property was stunning in appearance and very clean. The breakfast eggs were excellent, like homemade and not institutional fair.

This hotel is in a great location. The hotel is clean and well maintained. The rooms are spacious with everything you need. The lobby is awesome. The animal display is great. The rustic design is appropriate for the location. The free breakfast is best avoided. My Place restaurant is down the street.

The hotel itself looks nice. However after a stay there in the middle of October, my GF and I both got Scabies from that hotel. It was the only hotel we stayed at and only place other than home we stayed that we could have gotten it at. Obviously I'm disappointed in the cleanliness of the room.
