Hampton Inn Evanston

Rooms were very nice and clean, but the breakfast was the real star! Red velvet waffles, omlettes, and baby scones! Great way to start traveling again! And, staff super friendly.

I had high hopes for this one, being higher priced for the middle of nowhere... pulled up and it looked new-ish and inviting. Walked in at 730p with no one at the desk, no biggie since I did the app digital key, but I would have loved to ask a couple of questions before heading up to our room. The room had an odd smell, but was clean. The bed seemed comfortable for about an hour, then felt as if I was sleeping on a sheet of plywood, yay. Noisy neighbors off and on, but whatever on that note. Then there's the banging dripping sounds coming from in the walls and by the window from 2a on. Needless to say, crappy night sleep. Breakfast was the redeemer of the stay. The wonderful lady hosting in the kitchen/ dining area was a doll! She was so sweet and extra helpful. The gal at the desk in the morning was very nice too.

When in the road, I feel safe stopping at Hampton Inn for the night. Everything was fine. The morning that I leave, I go downstairs to leave my room attendant a tip. I do not like to leave it in the room because sometimes they go missing. So I go to the front desk in the lobby, no one is there. So I wander around looking for the Night Auditor. I find her in the kitchen, washing dishes or something. I informed her that I wanted to leave this tip for the person cleaning my room. She wasn't very professional in her response to me. She basically, nodded her head over to where she wanted me to place the money. Didn't say thank you for staying with us, or how was your stay? It was very unprofessional and not what I would have expected for someone in customer service. I will of course, stay here again. I just hope there is more professionalism at the front desk. 10/09/24

Dont come here. The pillows are hard and theyre were pubes all over the bathtub as if they didnt clean it first. Feels like cardboard in the pillows. Im staying at BW next time. Im not paying 150$ to sleep in another mans junk hair.

My first time ever going into and the lobby was AMAZING and looked so comfy. I'm a local and thinking about just getting a room for a nite just to give myself an experience. 😉👍

Nice location, clean room, and the young lady at the front desk who checked me in today 11/02/24 around 4pm was very warm, friendly, welcoming, and professional. This Hampton Inn is definitely recommended. Jasmine F. -Diamond Member

Arrive around midnight to a 60 degree room in the middle of summer! It was heaven! The night staff and morning breakfast woman were the friendliest hotel staff we've ever met. We've stayed here before and keep coming back just because the staff is so friendly!

We only used the restroom and the Tesla charger, but everything we clean, and the desk was VERY friendly about us using the restroom. There are also stocked dog clean up stations by the charging area, which was nice
