Maclaren River Lodge

We go here every year. Pretty amazing what they've put together in the heart of Alaskan wilderness. Winter trips and snowmachine riding is fantastic everytime. Great accommodations in the cabins and excellent food.

We had a fun time at the Maclaren River Lodge. Our group spent an extra night here due to weather but enjoyed ourselves. The food was good especially the breakfast. The rooms were comfortable and were right above a small lake with a patio above. The best part of the trip was a ride in an airboat with Captain Zach! 14 miles up to see the glacier and go for a hike. The boys and I sat outside on the ride back where we got a little rain but got to see a double rainbow above the mountains. Pretty cool! Thank you!

The rooms are pretty basic and could use some updating. The service is impeccable. The location is amazing. Jaw dropping scenery almost everywhere you look. We had breakfast and dinner on site. The chicken sandwich is huge and savory. We would definitely stay again.

Your best bet in town .....! Warm, clean rooms with wonderful views of the great outdoors. I'm glad this place was there - an oasis in a seemingly never-ending vast territory without commercial buildings!(yeah!) The only real buildings are hunting cabins along the way. Good, stick-to-your-ribs food and the folks are very nice and accommodating.

A rustic lodge with a great view (weather permitting) of Maclaren Glacier, and friendly staff. The room was very comfortable and a good size. I only ate from the breakfast and lunch menu's but it was good. Zach took us on a boat trip upriver which was great fun too.

This lodge is a hidden gem! The hamburgers are absolutely delicious, and the staff is incredibly friendly. The rustic charm of the place adds to the overall experience. The surrounding landscape with scenic glacier view is stunning, and I highly recommend the canoe and jet-boat tours. A perfect getaway!

Susie and Alan along with Zach/Anna and crew run the most wonderful rustic lodge that is homey with quality food, amazing scenery and a remote camp up river that my clients love. The cabins are fresh and clean with hot/high pressure showers.

The cabins were great as was the food at the restaurant. The staff was friendly and we were even able to watch the first NFL game of the year while enjoying their pool table. We’d be happy to stay here again on our next Denali Highway trip.
