Moose Creek Lodge

Moose Creek Lodge was an incredible place to stay. Views of the river from the lodge were gorgeous. Lodge was spacious, had most of the kitchenware we needed to cook, and was very clean. Highly recommend if you’re visiting the Kenai Peninsula!

I stayed at the moose creek lodge for a group trip with Taco fly co, AKTACOTOUR2024. This place was legit! The whole property is awesome. Everyone had room to do their own thing while also being able to hang with friends in the communal areas. It’s right on the river and even has its own little waterfall/creek going into the river. It’s super close to anything you need in soldotna for normal life and a stones throw away from changing your life with legendary fish. Can’t wait to go back next year!

This place was perfect for my large group! I have stayed here already a total of three weeks on two separate trips and the layout is awesome. The location is also great and the owners are really cool. The property has a great vibe and the backyard fireplace is AMAZING!

I stayed for a week during the "Taco Tour" and was pleasantly surprised with our accommodations this year. This is my 4th season staying in Alaska and this lodge was by far the best experience. There was plenty of space, the main lodge was the perfect spot for getting together and having the "late nighters" to enjoy themselves while also not intruding onto other guests. And, the location... right on the Kenai, with spectacular sunset views and we even got delighted with a late summer northern lights show. 10/10. I would recommend this lodge to any guest looking for a spectacular experience on the Kenai.

Best place to stay on the Kenai Peninsula! Very nice, clean accommodations. Right on the river with private docks to fish from. Excellent central location just outside Soldotna for any shopping, services, and especially fishing holes. Owners are top notch. They made sure we had everything we needed to have an exceptional experience.

When in Alaska, we always stay at Moose Creek Lodge. It is absolutely fantastic. Fishing off the dock is incredible, always catching our limits. The guided trips are well organized and booked with great, knowledgeable guides. I have been three times, and my husband has been five times. We have become family with Ron and his two daughters, Allison and Melissa. We can't wait to return!

I stayed at Moose Creek Lodge a couple years back and had a wonderful experience. For starters, Ron (who runs Moose Creek) is responsive and extremely knowledgeable about every aspect of a fishing trip to Alaska. Ron not only helped me plan my group's itinerary, but he also was nimble enough to switch our plans (mid-trip) when bad weather threatened to cancel our one and only halibut day (Ron made some calls and booked us a last second trip). The lodge itself has great accommodations, is easy to access, remains fairly close to primary fishing destinations and, of course, comes with some great meals courtesy of Ron and crew. I can't recommend Moose Creek enough and I look forward to the day when I can go back, fish and share a few stories with Ron over a beer or two.

Been to Ron’s several times now and have never been disappointed. The lodging, food and most importantly the fishing are amazing. Ron does a phenomenal job booking you with guides that really know how to put you on the fish. Love the breakfast every morning. He can also flash freeze your fish to make it easy for you transport on the plane.
