We had a goal of staying at a place that was a vintage cabin type, fireplace, kitchen, hot tub, BBQ grill, and outside firepit for Valentine/birthday weekend. This place had it all. We loved this place. Super cute, updated vintage cabin. Very clean. Log beds perfectly fit the decor, comfy mattresses. Loved the fireplace in the evening. Remodeled bathroom, very clean. Outdoor hot tub was awesome. There is an outside firepit should you want to make smores with family. We went in the winter, but we could see there were games available like cornhole We love to cook, not big go out-to-eat type of people, so the kitchen was great, also saves money. Coffee machine with coffee was included. They had Sling and Tubi if you want to kick back to watch a movie. Great location right by Estes Park shopping district, literally within walking distance, but yet secluded. Behind is a stone side of a mountain, so that view was beautiful too. You can hear the babbling stream/river across the street. You can see the Rocky Mountains from the bedroom and living room windows. Stanley Hotel is close. Grocery store is close. Rocky Mountain National Park is close. Lots of walking trails close, including Lake Estes. Some construction remodeling going on in the office which will be nice when done, and newer owners have been doing updates to the cabins. Does not take pets, but there is an awesome dog kennel nearby (you can email shot records and make reservations in advance). This place was not listed on hotels.com website. We had booked another place, they overbooked. We found this place driving by. (They do have a website to book on should you want to make advance reservations). Thank you, Tammy, for helping us make our first trip to Estes Park memorable. She let us look at both the cabin and the room to decide. Both looked awesome, had fireplace, and kitchen, and both reasonably priced. Has cleaning fee but they were clean. This place was perfect for us. I would highly recommend.

We spent a week at Misty Mountain Lodge and had the greatest time. It is perfect walking distance from the main drag. With all of the restaurants and bars providing an awesome experience. I would also recommend checking out Bird and Jims which is about a 5 minute car ride from the lodge. All around great experience.||Room: Room was clean and thoughtfully decorated. We stayed in 10 which had a great living area and small kitchen perfect for cooking a meal if you are wanting to stay in.||*Bonus* - The wildlife is beautiful!! We were also lucky enough to have about 8 inches of snow one evening #Magical!!!

We stayed at Misty Mountain lodge during our visit to Estes Park, and it was a wonderful experience. The location is perfect—just a short drive to Rocky Mountain National Park and within walking distance to the local restaurants and shops downtown. We were in room#6 and it was cozy and clean. It had an adequately stocked kitchenette and a wood burning fireplace. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. Highly recommend this lodge and will definitely book here again.

Stayed here for a quick trip to Estes Park with my husband and 6 month old. It was very nice and clean. You can tell they actually put thought into making it look and feel comfortable and cozy. Loved that we had king beds. It’s located centrally, only a couple minutes from downtown, The Stanley, and less than 10 min from the Rocky Mountain National Park. We look forward to staying here again in the future!

"A Fantastic Stay!" We had an incredible experience at Misty Mountain Lodge! The location was perfect, with easy access to everything we needed. The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and well-maintained—providing a relaxing environment after a long day. What truly set this place apart, however, was the staff. They were exceptionally friendly and went out of their way to accommodate all of our needs, ensuring we had a smooth and enjoyable stay. Highly recommend for anyone looking for both comfort and great service!

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay here. We chose this room primarily because it had a full kitchen, allowing us to have more meals in the room rather than having to go out every meal. The room was warm and cozy. And big enough to allow us to spread out and spend time together in the room without feeling cramped. We went during the winter months and really enjoyed the views and the snow in Rocky Mountain national Forest, which was a very short drive from the lodge. We did have an issue with our fridge being broke, but they replaced it the next day. As long as you’re not expecting hotel luxury, you’ll have a great time.

Our family had an amazing time at Misty Mountain Lodge! The room was beautifully appointed and very comfortable—perfect for relaxing after a day in the snowy weather. The lodge itself is so cozy and inviting, with plenty of spots to unwind and take in the peaceful surroundings. One of the highlights was gathering by the outdoor firepit, which made for some unforgettable family moments. The staff was friendly and accommodating, the hot tub was dialed in perfectly, and everything about our stay exceeded expectations. We can’t wait to come back for another visit!

Misty Mountain Lodge was the perfect spot for a family getaway! The room was clean, spacious, and had all the comforts we needed for a relaxing stay. We absolutely loved the snowy weather and spent plenty of time enjoying the cozy atmosphere of the lodge. The outdoor firepit was a highlight—it was so nice to gather around the fire, sip hot cocoa, and make lasting memories together. The staff was welcoming and made sure everything went smoothly. We’re already looking forward to planning our next trip here!
