Sunset Lodge

We stayed at Sunset Lodge Aug 2024. The food...Hands down amazing I loved the Flat Iron Steak, and Chicken Fried Chicken the night before..YUM!! Drinks and company are top notch! We went with Kelly our fishing guide and he had us over the fish all day. 100% this place is worth the drive. Tom & Char are top notch!

My husband and I were pleasantly surprised with the cleanliness and amenities at the Sunset Lodge! We stayed in the motel part of the lodge. The rooms were comfortable with bathrooms that were updated very recently. Best of all, we both slept fabulous. Nice and quiet and oh so peaceful of a place!! We will return some day with our kids and we know they will be safe playing outside in the grassy area!

We rent a campsite year round at Sunset and this place is the real deal. Top notch food, fully accommodating service, well-maintained property with improvements made each year and a breath-taking view of the Missouri River. Tom and Char go above and beyond to make us welcome here, each and every weekend making this campground a wonderful get-away. We look forward to many more enjoyable weekends at Sunset Lodge.

Owners are super nice. Ran into him on the lake and he offered up to fry up our walleye! Place has been reovated and is super clean. Restaurant opens at 6am for breakfast and open late for dinner. Highly recommend.

Amazing little place! The owners are great and everything about it just feels so at home. The food, the atmosphere, the friendship, everything makes you want to come back every week!

Didn't stay at the rooms...but the resturant had great food. We had fried shrimp and the steak and both were perfect! Thank you!
