Motel 6 Cincinnati, OH

The owner was extremely condescending and rude. Not only that he lied to me about pets staying free over the phone and was forced to pay an additional $25 pet fee on top of the normal deposit which I never received back on my card! I had to clean the bathroom completely because the shower had hair, dirt, and some other substance all over. The toilet had dried urine all around the base and back of it with pubic hair stuck to it. The bed had a huge dent in the top-middls area that made your head lay weird, the pillows felt like it was filled with paper and air and the microwave and fridge both had stuff stuck to it. I killed 2 roaches in the bathroom as well. This was the worst hotel/motel I've ever stayed in and I've stayed in quite a few! The front desk clerk Glenda and housekeeper (never caught her name) were extremely friendly and attentive! But the owner was horrible!! Never stay there!!!!

The room was a VERY basic place to sleep in, and it was clean. My only complaint is that the single chair in the room was an uncomfortable plastic chair and that, along with the stark LED lighting, made it not be a place I wanted to relax in. On a positive note, the bed was VERY comfortable!

My son was a 19 year-old college student who was driving his motorcycle home from Mississippi to NY. Cincinnati is the half-way point, and he booked this hotel for one night to break up the drive. We made sure the minimum age to check in was 18 (see photo). When he arrived, he was told they changed their policy to 21 years of age and wouldn’t let him stay there. He had been on the road since 8 am, and it was then 10 pm. I called the hotel, and the front desk person said he could take my son as a “walk in” if he paid cash. This sounded good at first, but then I quickly realized he was going to let my son stay there illegally if we paid him personally. I called the Motel 6 reservation line, and they just reiterated the age policy change and tried to tell me it was now stated on the website, which it wasn’t. They also tried to tell me my son booked through a third party, but it turns out he booked directly through the website in the photo (the Motel 6 website). Motel 6 will never get our business again.

Location was good for the night, service was great. The outside could use some updating, the room was updated but the bathroom was little funky, new counter tops and sink/faucet but the toilet was kinda small and the shower was a little outdated.

Overcharged me. I book all my reservations through motel 6 app. They charged me way more then what app shows. Refuse to help. Rude staff. Will never come back and highly don't recommend staying here either......they also dont clean rooms very well. When we checked in there was alcohol in the fridge.....

My experience here was nothing short of terrific, from the front desk service lady Glenda! 😄 she was so super nice, super professional made me feel welcomed upon arrival, her service is an A+ overall. I want to thank Glenda specifically for the awesome experience here, upon checking in, she made it super quick & super easy. Next time im in the city im definitely coming here to book again. Thank you Glenda for the great energy & experience here. its my first time staying in Cincinnati & im glad i came across you during my stay. Stay great stay positive & stay awesome Glenda you rock 😇 woke up in the mourning to Crystal calling the rooms phone to let me know i have to check out @11 & check back in @3, although i extended my reservation here i still have to find a place to keep warm for 4 hours its 12 degrees here must i say, if i already paid for another night here why & how am i getting kicked out. Sayed i cant stay on premises and kicking me off & calling the police

Good staff, solid room with working fridge. Reliable pet friendly stay. Not too noisy, just as fire truck 🚒
