Motel 6 Dayton, OH - Englewood

Well let's start with the bad. The room was so freaking hot it took hours to cool. After it finally cooled off I could see why because it smelled musty. The shower was so small and it creaked when I got in. There was a huge crack to the outside and the door didn't lock. The bed had a plastic covering on it and it made me sweat all night. They need some kind of a layer in between. Now for the good. It was real clean and everything was brand new. I didn't really worry too much about bugs or anything because of how clean it was. The guy at the front desk was super nice and he gave me a little discount. I ended up paying $59 for Christmas Day.

For the price CLC stay we stayed! But we non smokers got a smoking room with ashtrays! Smelled awful! There was a live roach in room! 3 pillows for 2 full size beds! Blankets thin and it was freezing outside! People upstairs load, dogs barking all night! 2 room in Ohio that was like this for us!

The room is spacious, bed comfy, full size fridge. No elevator for 2nd floor and the main reason for low stars......IT STUNK LIKE CIGARETTES!!!!!

I use this motel often. I'm satisfied and the rate is reasonable. Nothing fancy. It's just a clean, uncluttered room to rest up in.

BED BUGS! Literally bed bugs. I promise you, bed bugs. My wife and I planned a night of escape and got their jacuzzi room, which seemed too good to be true, and it was. We planned an evening and enjoyed the first couple of hours, then my wife went to use the restroom and found bugs on the floor. I squished one to be sure, and upon looking at it, saw it was a bed bug. We turned the lights off and waited and watched, and a few more came out! We collected our stuff and ran out of the place at midnight. The front desk guy acted like this wasn't important and told me I had to talk to the manager. I called and never got to speak to a manager, as it funnels you through a call center. Two weeks later, they called to offer me half my money back lol. What a joke. I hope they find themselves fighting a lawsuit. STAY AT YOUR OWN RISK!!

My three major complaints based on my short stay: 1) the curtain doesn’t completely cover the window. 2) the rock bed between the parking lot and room can be a hazard, especially for us handicapped people who aren’t very steady on our feet. 3) the beds sit too high. Not good unless you’re 6 ft tall.

Extremely poor management and some staff. They charged my card $40 for having to many people in and out when it was my neighbor but t regardless that was ridiculous. Even with my id they didn't want to give me my deposit back l. He even had the nerve to show my the money with my name on it, so I had do dig in the trash to get it and he said damn you almost bought my lunch after arguing with me about it. I also was paying for another night and because my girlfriend has my id he wouldn't accept my payment which made me go past check out time sonhe wanted me to take all my stuff and two dogs out of my room set it on the curb until my girlfriend came back with my ID which was only going to he 30 min pastb checknout. Last thing they have roaches and after killing 3 of them I bagged one up and brought it to the front desk and they tried to say it was my fault because my door was opened. This was the worst experience staying at a hotel due to very very very poor management. I can't blame employees as they are lead by very very poor mangers. They suck so t. Go here unless you want bugs and a bad experience

Had a problem with the shower but they handled it quickly at 2 am and was nice about it.
