Stage Coach Motel

This is one of the oldest motels in Cheyenne; no doubt has been updated to an extent more than twice; it was generally clean, carpet was quite nice and clean; bathroom was clean and most adequate. Lots of hot water and PSI. Bed and pillows like sleeping on a cloud... and stark white; WIFI and it worked perfectly. There was a table and two chairs, microwave, phone, clock and refrigerator, nice closest for clothes but take a couple extra hangars. We checked in about 9 p.m. and he had already locked for the night; however, unlike on down the avenue, this gentleman unlocked the door and graciously checked us in...I had to make a remark to my friend: "Gee, we stayed in luxury in NE for $79, that included tax) and we stayed here for $69 and tax included. While not perfectly decorated, it was not bad with one very lovely picture near the bed; lamps and AC worked well..no Bible as we had in NE..

It was late. I was tired. The room was warm, shower was hot, and the beds were comfy. Night counter manager stated it was under new ownership. I was traveling with my dogs and needed a stop that allowed them. Pups came in and bigger dogs stayed in van. Electrical outlets by door allowed me to plug in my vehicle and portable heater to keep them comfortable. It was a cool crisp 7deg. I would stay again for 55.00. No discounts...

Nice young couple, quiet at that time in the a.m. Room left a lot to be desired;with that said, the bed was comfy as was the pillows. Hot water with good pressure although I just used the sink. Carpets needs cleaned badly. Did have refrigerator and microwave...do not know if they worked or not. This motel is on a strip of motels from say Marriots to the Sands to this one...older, needs a lot of help. Would be nice if that were to happen...some good features.

Clean, economical, new heater in my room which is awesome because it's negative 10 outside. Place is family owned and operated and they are the nicest ppl I've met in Cheyenne. Is it the cutest place no. Is it the holiday inn no. Can't trust these reviews. I've stayed here multiple times. Room is always clean.

Booked 2 rooms last minute during Frontier Days $110/night each room. The 2nd room was only checked out after our dinner out & after a long day of driving. Blood was found -the size of 2 hands...on the left side of the Bed ! and was stained right through to the mattress. Also 3 rips in the sheets.. Besides a fly being in the room, their were a couple of tiny black bugs on the bed (ticks?) & a black long hair ! If that wasn't enough to make you throw up - the thick dust on all of the heating vents & cable out of the wall & hole in bathroom ceiling was something else. As it was super late and no one was around in the office... and our relatives who were having car trouble and had provided our transportation had already gone to bed in the other room that was apparently acceptable - we opted not to say anything until early morning & stayed in the 2nd bed (which was just tolerable). In the morning we knocked on the office door - 8 am - nothing. Although they say they are available 24/7. We then phoned three times with no answer. I have bad arthritis.. and we only had 1 day in Cheyenne & we had come from overseas to see frontier days - so off we went to the rodeo & left the relatives to deal with the car repair... and then to complain to the Manager/Owner of the hotel.... As soon as the car was repaired.. at 230 pm our relatives were back at the motel to advise the owner. The management called our relative a liar and threatened to kick us all out without a refund - although we notified them within the 24hrs & had asked them to just come and see the room & the iissue. Management refused and threatened to call the police. I arrived back at the hotel at 415pm to find out that the owners refused to clean the room or change the sheets and then they called my room to complain that my relative was lying. I stayed calm and advised them that I am older & have arthritis and that we are asking for new sheets at least... if no credit/refund... and if the room cannot be changed. (although we wanted to run & leave and report the owners ).. the nephew of the owner was sent over... and showed up with sheets... and we showed him the blood... and he said 3 times: you get what you pay for ! and that we didn't have a right to complain.....that we should have went to their other more expensive hotel & that then we would have got a different room and service.

Clean motel, small but very cheap so no complaints here. The floor looked a little gross but we were fine. Fortunately we couldn't smell smoke in our non smoking room despite cigarette buckets sitting outside multiple doors.

OMG !!! This place is deplorable ! Our room smelled like poop and not like dog poop, it smelled like human feces.!! We had paid for our room early in the afternoon with a quick stop in pay, pick up the key and left for an early evening event without looking in the room... so around 10 p.m. we arrived back at the motel ready to chill & get some sleep. ... in seconds I could smell a stench in the room, it smelled horrible. I was ready to vomit..!! I immediately went to the, office door where we had paid for our room earlier that day. And so, to no avail, got no answer, knocking several times at one point I saw someone peek out at us, then quickly ducked back. I was not going to sleep in that room, we ended up sleeping in the car getting hardly any rest all night long, the guy at the front desk said they would not refund our money, and that we were the ones at fault, saying it was old food or something then he got pissed at me for taking a picture of his sign at the front entrance, oh yeah and I forgot to mention he's rude and he wants top $$ for his rooms.. my advice,? travel to the west..... you'll find something a lot nicer.

No bugs and looks like they may be trying to update but for now the carpet was so filthy they need to start there. Bathroom clean and partly newer, so that was o.k. Fridge good, cold and. Lean, but microwave was from the dark ages and outside sticky and yellow. Clean inside. Drawers blocked closet, vent off the wall, curtains see through, pillowcase had small stain of makeup? Blood? But u know, the other motels are so expensive and if they get carpet I wud give it a 3. People at desk were o.k.
