Anchor Bay Resort

This resort was really nice. The owner was awesome! I would definitely recommend. I would only update the bikes and kids play area. Our family took up all 11 cabins and we stayed out late and sang until 4 am. The pool was clean and life jackets were available. The outdoor grills came in handy and the best part is, it's walking distance to Indiana Beach.

I have been coming to Anchor Bay for many years. My kids and friends go at least 4 times a year. It is close to everything. I love docking my boat at there pier and are just steps away from being out on the water. Indiana Beach is right there, their pool is heated and is beautiful, the cabins are always clean and cozy. The owners are AWESOME!! They will go out of there way for there guests. There are plenty of grills, fire pits, and everything you need in the cabins to feel like home. The only thing you need to bring is towels. Thanks for always a wonderful vacation Matt and Vickie, I look forward to every chance I get to ENJOY ANCHOR BAY!!!!!

We had a blast at Anchor Bay! We wanted to go to the Journey Tribute concert at Indiana Beach and this place is so convenient to get into the park. You are right at the entrance. So much to do at the resort and the owners are great. We got cabin 10 and were very pleased. Right next to the pool with a covered deck overlooking the water and a fire pit. Boat rental next door was convenient and the saloon that is within walking distance has great pizza. Will definitely return to Anchor Bay Resort!

This was a fun getaway place for our family to stay for a weekend. We were happy that it was within walking distance of Indiana Beach. Our kids enjoyed that they had a nice inground pool and playground. The cottages are these neat fisherman cottages that have been converted to have a kitchen and bathroom. We would recommend that you bring a fan to push the air conditioning into the rooms. The owners are nice and can tell you more about the history of the resort. We do plan on visiting again soon.

I had an amazing experience here at Anchor Bay Resort and I am still having a blast here!!! We are enjoying every minute here and the service is Amazing , when you come here make sure you ask for Vicky because she is the best ! This place is right off the lake , the paddle boats and canoes are free to guests and Vicky even hooks you up with fishing poles if you need them , I literally forgot my fishing poles and when I got here she told me no worries I got some and she even gave me a tackle box with the poles lol!!! Saved my day!! I highly recommend anybody who comes down here to Monticello to check out Anchor Bay Resort ! Words can't even describe the great time I'm having here.

LOVE THIS PLACE!!! So much to do!! Such a friendly and safe atmosphere. Very adorable. Very comfortable and cozy. Cabin views are amazing. Nice and relaxing place even great for the kids!!

If your looking for a place to take your family with kids this place is for you. The cabins are nice, the owners are wonderful. All the amenities for kids are within eyesight. I have 5 kids and they love it. We fish, swim, ride the paddle boats, kayak, and it's literally a few minutes to walk to Indiana beach. We love the camping experience and the prices are better than a hotel. If you've never been there I highly recommend you try Anchor Bay resorts.

Me and my wife decided to stay here to run around Monticello Indiana Memorial Day weekend. First thing we found was none of the cabins were heated when It drop down to 42° that night! Cabins needed work and some updating along with some structural repairs some of the deck railings ability to support somebody was very questionable! There was a great effort into making the cabin's very kid friend! Large swing at a play area. This would be excellent for a family looking to go fishing and boating or group looking to go drinking but it is not something for couples! Decided to ditch out on the last night and go someplace else!!! { My statement after the reply! } I've stayed between the hills of Tennessee and Anchorage Alaska I would have to say I would not return here! I was very generous in my above words but the truth is there's so many code violations in this place I called the county they shut them down and that's me being truthful might want to fix things before somebody calls!😡 You were better off letting me fall off to the side and be forgotten....... And the national weather service reported that evening reaching 41° google it!
