Outrigger Resort

We just spent the weekend here for a family getaway and all four of our cabins were PERFECT! Hannah and her husband were so accommodating they made everything so easy from the moment we got there u til the day we left. Our Wi-Fi went out and they resolved that issue so quick for us! Everything was clean and exactly what we were looking for & an added bonus was how close we were to Indiana Beach we can’t wait to come back!

The cabin was not cleaned at all, with fecal on the outside of the toilet. Piss ants in the living room, a dirty bra left in the bath room and enough hot water for a half of a shower which the well water smells of Sulphur and no filter. On the plus side location is beautiful the boat docks are nice and the porch area is relaxing.

I've been going here for the past 10 years. They are under new management now and by far it's the best it's ever looked. The cabins are all freshly painted in bright colors and the bathrooms look great. I want to give a special thanks to Hannah she made our stay at the end of May/beginning of June amazing. We celebrated my little one's birthday as we do every year. She gave him a special surprise for his birthday and he was so extremely happy. She was very accommodating to us as well. The pool was clean and warm. It rained one of the days we were there so we bought some of their JJs frozen pizzas they had in the office and they were delicious. Also they have Roku TV's so we were able to sign into our Netflix account and watch a couple of good movies. They also offer games to borrow in the office as well. Oh and did I forget to mention the views from the cabins are amazing!!! I would definitely recommend you try this place out. I know I'll be back again for sure 😊 Thank you again Hannah for a great experience 🙏

Our family recently stayed at the Outrigger Resort in Monticello, IN. We were celebrating a weekend with our family and it proved to be quite a memorable experience. Our cabins were clean and each within walking distance to Indiana Beach. We plan to make Outriggers Resort an annual family destination getaway. Hannah, thank you very much for your hospitality!

Absolutely AMAZING stay! Truly the perfect location, walking distance to Indiana Beach. Great private dock with awesome view of the fireworks spectacular. LOVE waking up each morning on the lake. The new owners really have put a ton of dedicated time into making this a perfect gem on Lake Shaffer. Cannot wait to come back and make more family memories!! :)

Went here this past weekend with my boyfriend and his family, it was such a cute cabin that we stayed in and the view of the lake was even better! The room was very clean, and the staff was very nice and helpful as well. The location is nice and quiet, so you're able to relax peacefully! It's very close to Indiana Beach, there's an arcade, mini golf, and a free waterpark just across the street, as well as a boat rental area just down the road! I will definitely come back here soon!

Outriggers Has been far more the best resorts my family and I have stayed in. I love the accessibility, the convenience of being so centralized and everything walking distance from there. The cabins are always clean and are fully equipped with the necessary amenities needed for a fun and convenient stay. Arissa and Samantha were very accommodating and welcoming during our stay this past weekend. Always willing to help. Hannah’s hospitality is great. always makes us feel welcomed and is very present at the resort. love it 😍 and will definitely be back. I have recommended it to family and friends.

The little cabin # 5 was perfect for the two us . It was wonderful to wake up with a cup of coffee and head right to the lake outside our door. There are only some small issues we would like to address. We walked up to the property, and the door was locked 30 mins prior to arrival. we were told it would be open. Cushions were left outside and completely soaked from the storm earlier, and grills were not cleaned out. Inside, the floors were dirty, and the coffee pot they were so generously supplied for us was really dirty. I had to clean it myself. Lastly, I wish they had more bike friendly paths, and there was at least 1 hour of an ADULT swim. I paid a nice amount, and we would have liked to enjoy the cool , refreshing pool without kids being kids. Out of those few minor complaints, I would definitely recommend all my friends to stay here. It felt safe and the staff was very friendly.
