Southcape Resort and Club

Review as renter: Traveled with my adult daughter and her family. Rate was reasonable for off season. Renting a 2 bedroom was more economic than renting 2 separate hotel rooms. The unit smelled very clean. The bathroom could have used a little more detailing. Clear faucet handles are a bad idea and do not stay clean. Location is close to restaurants and stores. Staff was pleasant. Review as Timeshare: I never owned a Timeshare, but my parents owned 2 for 30 years, so I am no stranger to Timeshare ownership. The kitchen and bath cabinets are well past their prime and need updating.

Outdated rooms but clean clean everything you need, and right close to the main town! We came off season had a blast pool was great, sauna awesome. We will be back most definitely. An hour to boston also was a plus! O

This is our timeshare. Not much has changed in years. We like to cook when we come and it would be good if the pots and pans were newer. No frying pan this time. In the past you had to check when you came in to see if things were missing. A new building is being built right behind and construction was a bit loud. Location is great as it's easy to get to all different areas of the cape and Mashpee Commons. Lots of places to walk even in November.

Spacious unit & everything we were promised was delivered. No money is being spent on these units. |Outside appearance looks tired, could use some fresh paint and wood rot replaced. Landscaping is not their priority.|Old carpet, old furnishings, but clean.|Beds were comfortable enough A/C and heat both worked. Kitchen was|Small and somewhat stocked with utensils needed for cooking and eating.|Second bath was functional but TINY!|Great location for cruises and island visits.|If you don’t mind no frills and are looking for space and the ability to cook this might just do it for you.

We visited Southcape with friends and family. We are also owners of the timeshare. The area is nice, however the units are not acceptable. The bathrooms and kitchen cabinets had mold and mildew. These units need to be shut down and inspected throughly. As an owner, this was the worst timeshare I have ever stayed. If the units are mold infested; no one should be allowed to stay here. This is endangering peoples health. We did notify front desk and was moved to another unit which had mold as well. I had to take benadryl in order to stay in the unit. If we could have afforded other accommodations we would have left immediately. This was very disappointing after driving 12 hours to get here. This place need to be SHUT DOWN immediately! A report will be made to the state attorneys general, BBB, FTC and the Department of Real Estate.

Very dated and dark inside. The second bedroom with two twin beds were broken. Needs work on the inside. The outside: no flowers, weeds and not very appealing. Tennis Courts had weeds all over and the pool outside not inviting at all. The patio had old tables and chairs not a place you want to eat outside. The place needs fixing up. The rooms were big enough for sure and the service was great. But overall not a great vacation experience because of the condition.

It was extremely hot inside the resort when we got there. It took a entire day for it to cool off. The amenities are good. Nice shampoo and conditioner provided. I will say the washer and dryer inside our resort was great!! When we got in, there were crickets in the kitchen and spiders all around the corners of the resort. The pull out bed was an average pull out bed. I'm sure you could find a better resort for the price. Overall, would come again if I needed too.. pretty cozy and safe feeling.

Honestly was not expecting much but the pictures online don’t do it justice. We had our own condo and it was massive. Multiple tennis courts, indoor pool AND outdoor pool. Also a small library and gym inside the front office. Lovely front desk and housekeeping staff.
