Lake Forest Resort

The golf course is closed! Since at least 2022. Other parts of the resort appear to be open, but there were only fields of overgrown grass today. (Try Eagle River Golf course instead. I would give them a 4-5 star review.)

We had a great time with our week at Lake Forest. The condo was clean and comfortable as it always is. Enjoyed seeing the local deer everyday. I would recommend Lake Forest as a go to place. We have been coming up to the resort for over 20 years.

Another excellent vacation at Lake Forest Resort, even the weather was was great. Sue and staff so helpful and Friendly. We love their stock of things to borrow.. didn’t have to lug up tennis rackets, bikes , minnow bucket and beach toys. My granddaughters and daughter love coming up and had such a great time.....I did also...daughter, Erin grill every night :). Family flew in from Alaska and loved everything about our stay. All 3 generations plan on coming again next year!!

Everything was great. Had a good time. Weather beautiful. Fishing really good. Beach area was wonderful. Everything in the condo was clean and in order. Just one problem, the bed was too high because of having the extra foam mattress on top of the other mattress. Hard to get into and out of.

Fabulous weather! Great boating! Good food and drinks! Delightful family time! And the resort was updated and spotless! Need I say more.||Downtown Eagle River is not to be overlooked. Many new businesses to check out, and of course, the old favorites.

Have been vacationing in Eagle River at Lake Forest Resort for more than 25 years, and it is by far my favorite get away. Various family members attend yearly, so it's always a nice mix of company, the golf course, club house, pool, game room, canoes, tennis courts, fishing, campfires and more provide many things to do right at the resort. The staff is always warm, welcoming and ready to help and the accommodations are always impeccably clean, updated and comfortable. In addition, the surrounding shops and adventures make the time go all too quickly! Love this place!!

Great Retreat. We spent 11 nights at the Lake Forest Resort and loved every moment of it. This is a great place to disconnect, relax, and revive. The condos are comfortable and well appointed. The office and housekeeping staff are friendly and helpful. Don't miss the Monday morning coffee - Mary bakes the treats and they are tasty!

Was kind of a late decision to take a family trip to get away since our original plans in spring fell through to Washington DC. I came across Lake Forest while searching and decided this was the place to stay. If you arrive after hours, don't worry they have everything ready for you which is super convenient. The full kitchen and two baths are really nice to have. Plenty of activites to keep busy, basketball, tennis courts, pickle ball, playground for the kids, beach, kayak and paddle board rentals which are very affordable. Very scenic and quiet environment. We had no issues at all when we were there. Definitely thinking about coming back for a return trip next year anyway. The only suggestion I have is to put some lights on the end of the docks for those coming in when it's dark, very tricky.
