Oak Shores Resort

We have been staying at this resort for 13 years and we love it even more now that Chad and Wendy are the owners. It’s always clean and comfortable and great for the kids with the pool. They are constantly improving the place and you really feel like they care about you. They go the extra mile to help when needed! Highly recommended.

We have been staying at Oak Shores since 2013 but the new owners have really upped the game and are continuously making improvements. This year was new beds and bedding which was really appreciated. They also added live bait and ice on site. It was great not having to drive somewhere to get ice this year. They also added umbrellas poolside and a second fire pit. There are nice docks, a few complementary kayaks and great views of the flowage. It is a short walk to Chief Lake Lodge or Pat's Landing if you want to get a drink or have someone cook for you but we mostly use the charcoal grills and kitchen to prepare meals while there.

We have stayed at Oak Shores the last two years and always look forward to going back every year. Chad and Wendy are amazing hosts. They make your stay worth while.

Great Resort, low key, quiet, good dock space and great pool for kids when you need some down time and the kids want to play. Cabins are great. Owners are good down to earth people that value their guests!

Beautiful cabin right on the Chippewa Flowage. Plenty of parking for the truck and trailer. The cabin was exceptionally clean and the kitchen was well appointed. I always have trouble operating TV’s when we are away from home but this one was super easy to use and had premium channels for us to watch. The owners know the snowmobile trails and area restaurants and taverns and are happy to l as you in the right direction. Thank you!!!!

Very clean and comfortable. The owners are wonderful and extremely helpful. Located on a nice lake.
