NillFirst time in Wisconsin. Louie’s has it all. Lake views, a good crowd, little details that make for a great bar, and the food is amazing. I’ll be back!

NillThis place was amazing to say the least . Very clean, very accomadating to our needs as we love having a restaurant/ bar across the street . Access to and from the utv trails were very nice. We had rented a pontoon boat from Louis landing which was docked right at our cabin. Quiet night time setting which was enjoyable to sit by the fire and roast a few marshmallow and have a few drinks before calling it a day. We stayed for a week and enjoyed everyday to the fullest. Can not beat the price for a long stay. Thanks so much for having us Allison!

NillThere were 17 of us and we rented all 4 cabins! 8 were children. We had an extraordinary time! Cabins were quite comfortable, and we loved the large bathroom! Brian and Alison were fantastic! We booked for next year already! We all wished our stay had been longer than a week! Beautiful property!!!!!

NillTo preface, some of the issues weren't the resort's fault. I scheduled a week in early June, so I didn't even think to ask if there was air conditioning. There isn't. It was 95° every day, and the cabin was sweltering. They can't control the weather, but it made me wonder how people enjoy a late July stay. It's 2021. They could throw a small unit in that place for $150. Then, the website claimed that there was some seclusion to the cabins. They are about 20 feet apart and the cabin has no window treatments. Anyone sitting by the neighboring fire pit just stares into the living room. In addition, be aware that the smaller cabins are duplexes. We stayed in the Moose Mansion, which is decently sized, but terribly planned. The one bathroom is huge, but there is a ton of wasted space. The shower is so small I couldn't even bend over to pick things up. I had to gauge where they were and kneel, picking them up without looking. Almost nothing is included. Typically little things like lighters for the grill are provided, but there was no charcoal, lighter fluid, firewood, kindling, or really much of anything. There are plenty of dishes, so that was a plus. If you stay here, I recommend you pack like you are camping. The resort isn't really kid friendly. The swimming area is really, really small. There is only about 15 feet of beach, and it is directly adjacent to the boat launch. Louie's Landing Lodge and Louie's Landing Resort are NOT affiliated. Jack from the lodge is a nice enough guy, but it seems there is some animosity. I really can't blame him when the resort tells the residents to throw their trash in his bin without his permission or compensation. In all this was a rough experience. I have been to other resorts by Chetek and other places comparably priced that were much better. Maybe keep looking.

NillBooked for a guys ice fishing weekend. Great cabin in a great location. Everything was clean and comfortable. Alison made the booking process extremely easy and hassle free. It was everything our group was looking for.

NillLove coming up here with my family the last couple years. Planning on making it a family yearly event. Met one of the owners and he was very friendly, kind, and accommodating. (Beware of the 1st weekend of August...there is a festival across the street that is very loud and disruptive and would have continued had a certain "daddy bear" stopped over to shut it down.) However, the rest of the week was perfect. Peaceful lake(caught some northern) and peaceful time to unplug for a few days. There is no cell service, but the restaurant across the street has Wi-Fi and great food. Highly recommended place to rent a cabin!

NillWonderful place. Cabins were clean and inviting. Owners were there for check in and were able to provide several items we forgot. The bar/lodge across the street was very warm and inviting as well. Wonderful vacation and will definitely go back. Thank you!

NillWe stayed at Louie's Landing in September. It was clean and the flooring was perfect for muddy boots and our dogs. It was conveniently close to Moose Lake which made it easy to dock our boat and close to many grouse hunting areas. It was nice to walk over to the restaurant and bar if we didn't feel like cooking
