I’ve never come across a homestay so beautifully and tastefully decorated, with such meticulous attention to detail. Every corner reflects thoughtful care and maintenance. The staff’s dedication is truly commendable, making it a perfect retreat for families. We stayed on the ground floor (3 bedrooms) for 3 days and 2 nights, and we were thoroughly impressed. A special mention to Mr. Kumaran, the owner, and Mr. Raja, the caretaker, for their seamless coordination and warm hospitality. And not to forget—the home-cooked food was absolutely delicious!

The home was beautifully crafted with modern design and had everything we needed. They even provided us with an early check-in, and all the necessities were well arranged. The caretaker was extremely helpful and made our stay even more comfortable.

Lovely experience! We had a friends and family trip planned on July for close to 15 members including kids, the place was so spacious and accommodated everyone! Had two kitchens and almost all utensils for self cooking and very good care taker also provides nice food on request. The garden was so beautiful and a well designed interiors gave an at home experience in kodaikanal. Thanks for the wonderful experience.

Stayed at lakshmi illam for two days and it was a wonderful classy stay. There is 24 hour room service and hot water. The care takers are awesome,they help us and keep the place clean and can be called for any errands. There was two bedrooms and bathrooms a balcony and dining. One thing I would like to bring everyone's notice is the way the owner has thought of his guest.There is a smart tv with Netflix,prime, hotstar everything and wifi ,along with basic amenities there is an oven,hair dryer ,iron box ,extra beds , blankets and pillows and cctv. I would definitely recommend this cozy classy place to all

The room was very clean and tidy the staff was very friendly with the family and treated us kindly and politely. the washrooms were clean and the rooms were big and the price was very affordable the smart tv runs smoothly and the view from the balcony is perfect for beautiful pictures. Do not miss this stay if you go to Kodaikanal.

Property: We are very much pleased to stay for three days at Lakshmi illam with our family. Rooms were clean,spacious and well furnished. The property was like a home away from home. Food: We tried both veg and Non veg. Enjoyed Briyani, Chicken gravy and they served special Kothukari at our request and Barbeque scored 3.5 out of 5. ..they also provide helpers for cleaning instantly.. Service: Excellent service. They cared well and acted immediately to meet our needs on time. It was unfortunate that I missed to note that check out time is 10 AM for this property that may be considered by the owner . Location: Ambience and location was good and accessible to reach tourist spots.

Had a nice time there. Well maintained place. Near to main area. Beautiful indoors. Only red flags are. Minimal parking space and power goes out every now and then . Everything else perfect.
