Skyland too Guest House

A terrible experience at this place. The owner initially agreed to a two-week stay and gave me a good price since I was staying for a relatively long period. However, after just one night, he kicked me out—likely because he got a higher offer from another guest through Booking. This is not how you run a business, and I would never return. I strongly recommend staying away, as the people running this place cannot be trusted.

Skyland is an amazing place. I ended up staying there for 3 weeks simply because it was hard to leave!|The location is amazing and the atmosphere is very relaxed and friendly. The rooms are basic yet sufficient. |The best part is the owner, Biju, such a kind and lovely person. You can be sure you're in great hands :) |Highly recommend experience.

I spend here 3 weeks. It was not staying in a guest house I felt like being at home. The room was nice and very clean, the bed big and cozy. Rooms have a mosquito net and own bathroom. Guests were allowed to use the kitchen. Biju, the owner is such a lovely, fair and nice person. He creates a happy and welcoming atmosphere. When I come back to Varkala I definitely stay at Skyland❤

What a fantastic happy guest house, very central and seconds from the beach! The atmosphere and other guests are all very relaxed and super friendly. Makes you feel part of a traveling family. The access to a kitchen with gas hobs makes a real difference. Biju, the Manager, has a smile and a kind word for all and is always helpful. The best place to stay in Varkala.

Skyland is my favorite guesthouse in South India ! Biju,the owner is a very friendly and welcoming person. His place is very clean and colorful, rooms are nice and the location is perfect. Highly recommended.

My wife and I stumbled upon Skyland whilst searching for another place to stay and we are so glad we did! Biju the manager is the friendliest, most helpful guy and keeps the place immacutely clean. We stayed in the top corner room, in the front property. It was a big, light and airy room with comfortable beds, fan, mosquito net. The room has concrete shelving which is really handy and the whole place is painted in the most beautiful colours. Bathroom, although small, worked well and hot water was available! Skyland has the best location too - just behind the tibetan market and a mere 5 minute walk to beach and shops. We couldnt have found a better place to stay for our 10 days there and would return in a heartbeat - Skyland and Biju are a hidden gem in Varkala!

A refreshing change: Skyland Guest house was kept very clean, the garden is beautiful and as two female travelers we felt very comfortable. The wifi is good on all levels also, many guest houses offer wifi but we found we could get this in our room too. Biju the manager was helpful and kind and professional.

Best Guesthouse in India. Very clean rooms and a common area where you can sit and relax when its too hot. We met a lot of nice people from all around the world. The garden is like paradise with hammocks, bananas and coconuts. Bijou is also making a new guesthouse right next to it. If you are in Varkala make sure to go there. Best Price around town. We stayed 3nights and didnt want to leave. Bijou also fixed my bike and took it to a garage of his friend. Took us half an hour and the bike was ready to go. Best dude ever.
