FRIENDS GUEST HOUSE

I stayed at the Friends Guesthouse for five days and it was very nice. The room was very clean and comfortable and it had the best hot shower I've ever had in India. Lucki was always very helpful and super friendly. Unfortunately, I got a little sick but she kept offering to support me. The family has also a traditional restaurant nearby with delicious food. Varanasi is really busy and crowded, so the guesthouse is directly at Dasaswamedh Ghat, but in a more silent small street, good for relaxing breaks between . I really recommend the friends guesthouse for a stay in Varanasi👌

Such a great great time at Friends guest house with Laxmi and her wormful family ! The location in the vibrant heartbeat of old town Varanasi is just perfect. The room was clean, comfortable bed and beautiful view on the Ganga. She was very lovely, available and super welcoming. I hilghly recommend this place and will come back again with joy.

I give this is guesthouse 4 stars: because of: Its proximity to the river. Just around the corner is the ghat next to the main ghat. The location in small, narrow alleys where you can't get lost cause the shop keepers know where you live... The spotless clean room and stairs. Spotless. The shower is nice and hot. The very nice lady Laxmi and her nephew who can arrange anything and are willing to help. The roof top with a great view over Ganges and part of the village. On the downside is: that this location means no transport is available to the guest house, the roads are closed. The stairs are really high and many The breakfast menu is limited I can warmly recommend it though. I love it.

Lakshmi and her family are amazing hosts! We stayed for 6 nights and didn't want to leave. It is a small family owned bed and breakfast that makes you feel like you are part of the family😊. We feel so lucky to have found this gem. If you are looking for a place where you will feel at home, eat wonderful home cooked meals, and get all of the help that you need, then I highly recommend you stay here. The rooms are super clean, well decorated and comfortable. My husband got a little sick and Lakshmi had her nephew buy medicine for him which really helped him out a lot. She cares so much about her guests. We had a wonderful time at her home and we miss her and her family very much. I can't take her enough for her kindness and hospitality. Her and her family really made our trip memorable ❤. Thank you Lakshmi and family, I cannot wait to come back and visit again!🤗

Friends Guest House is my favourite place in Varanasi. I have already stayed there 3 times and cannot wait to go back . The location is ideal, the accommodation is very comfortable and also really authentic but most of all the family who owns the guest house is simply is the kindest , nicest, friendliest people you can meet . When I am at Friends Guest House I know I am with friends.

i had stay there two days. the guest house just beside the river. you can see the other side if the weather is good. the guest house had three floor and i stay at the roof, and need climb up the staircase. the owner Johnny can arrange the boat trip for you. it was a family business, the daughter was very nice. she cook for me because i very hungry. but the place is quite difficult to find. no TukTuk can arrive near around, need change to bicycle.

We Arrive me And My wife And we get a warm welcome.the Place is located on The river Next to a important gath Wen every night there is a Nice pooja to See.. The Rooms are Nice Clean And Big. Wi fi works well. Benares is full of guest House But many are dirty And orribile located. Here is a great Place to stay. They are fantastic.

Me and my friends stayed at this guest house for three nights at the very end of July, 2013. The rooms were clean, bathroom a bit too small in the lower rooms, the staff - a family - was very friendly and approachable. However, there is no restaurant and if you want to leave the bag in the morning until your next bus or train, you have to pay.
