Om Guest House

One of the worst stay ever!!! First of all, this isn’t a Hotel, it’s a side business. No registered GST number neither any bill for hotel stay. We went to stay there from 19-21st Feb, and the rooms were so costly. As per the discussion with the owner before booking he informed us that the whole hotel has been renovated hence no prior reviews are relevant. Once we stayed there, the A/C wasn’t working, the bathrooms were like Village stay, no geyser, no room service at all. When we complained about it the owner’s statement was to please adjust but no adjustments were made to the bill. Room service never came to change bed sheet as well and when asked his statement was the bed sheet was there if it wasn’t there then he would have come n give it. Drinking water needs to be filled by own. No charging points nor any regulator is working in the room. You can find better stays nearby places, suggested to find better stay. Don’t ruin your Varnasi trip staying at this place.

The location is great. The room is very basic and not very clean. The toilet flush works but it doesn't clear the poop so you will have to use the bucket and drop water to get it clean. There is no place to hang your clothes inside the washroom. The bed is almost about to collapse. The airconditioner was working great and the owner is a really nice person. If you want a very basic ac or non ac room just a walking distance from the ghat then this room will be sufficient. We didn't spend much time in the room since we were gone throughout the whole day and only returned late at night to sleep so didn't have much to complain.

The room was terrible, full of mosquitoes, and there was a rat making a mass in the bathroom. No value for money whatsoever. You'll find cheaper and overall better options around. The only saving grace of this dumpster is the owner, who's a very nice and informative person.

It's best and reasonable guest house, located near Assi Ghat. Owner of the property is very humble. It's Very safe for girls if they are travelling with friends group.( without family)I always stay here whenever I visit Kashi💯

My recent visit at this guest house left me with mixed feelings. On the positive side, the location was average , located in narrow streets. The room was generally clean and comfortable, but small providing a decent night's sleep. However, there were some downsides. The amenities were quite basic, and I expected more for the price. The Wi-Fi was slow and unreliable, which was frustrating for both work and leisure. Additionally, the staff, although friendly, seemed a bit disorganized and unresponsive to requests. this guest house is a reasonable choice if you're on a tight budget and prioritize location. Just be prepared for some minor inconveniences in terms of amenities and service.

We loved our stay here! I came to leave a review specifically to praise the amazing Babu for being the absolute best city guide we’ve ever met. We were 2 women traveling alone with very limited time in Varanasi so getting as much sight seeing in as possible was very important to us. Babu guided us seamlessly through the beautiful Holy City, sharing stories about its people and history, all the while making us feel incredibly safe the entire time. (People in the city were very friendly in general however he made sure none of the men were too forward with us which was much appreciated). Everything from delicious food recommendations, historical sites, shopping, & even a private sunrise boat ride up the Ganges was scheduled and carried out by Babu himself at a very fair rate. Once we left the city he even went through the trouble of connecting us with other trustworthy guides in the other cities we visited. Truly top shelf customer service. We cannot recommend this place enough & we will be returning in the future!

Pathetic place. No cleanliness, nor any facility. Washroom has spit marks and used shampoo sachets. When the electricity goes off even the fan stops working. I never had such bad experience in my life. The only good thing was the man's attitude which was polite but that too doesn't justify the price paid for the room. I would have given the place a zero star infact minus..

Rooms are Dirty. Almirah is fully occupied by the owner's clothes and sandals. Nothing much can be done with mosquitoes. We had to clean the room ourselves. I even feel it is used by the owner when there are no guests. The owner is very good and soft spoken. But things are very badly managed. Bas chal raha hai.
