I had a wonderful stay at HosteLaVie Varanasi. The staff here is extremely welcoming and helpful. Whenever I asked about how to visit nearby places, they gave genuine and practical suggestions. They really know the area well and guided me with full honesty, which made my Varanasi trip smooth and memorable. The cleanliness of the hostel is commendable — the rooms, bathrooms, and common areas were well-maintained and hygienic. The location is great — it's within walking distance of the ghats and major temples, yet peaceful enough for a good rest. What stood out most is the positive and friendly vibe of the staff — they treat you more like a friend than a guest.

I booked a dorm room for my brother and a separate private room for myself. Both rooms were clean, well-kept, and very comfortable. The entire place has a calm and quiet vibe, which made the stay really peaceful. The interiors are beautifully done — with artistic wall paintings that give it a creative and chill vibe. The common balcony with a riverside view was one of the best part. The hostel is surrounded by greenery both inside and outside. Staff was friendly and everything felt safe and relaxed. Highly recommended for solo travelers or anyone looking for a scenic and aesthetic stay in Banaras.

Had a peaceful stay. The aesthetics of the hostel were beautiful. Away from all the noise it gave a sense of peace. You can watch the ganga flow right in front of you from the terrace. Cleaning drinking water and amenities such as washing machine and hot water for bathing was available. A special thanks to the owner of the hostel. He was so cooperative and friendly, gave us details about the nearby eateries and spots to visit. Overall the stay was just perfect. And to mention prices of the rooms are so budget friendly. Good for student travellers.

We booked family room and it was good from price perspective. The location of the hotel was good and peaceful at rooftop. They also provided bike on rent which helped us to cover most of location on day1 itself.

The location of the property couldn’t have been better. It’s only a couple of minutes walk from the ghats and has a breathtaking panoramic view of the ghats, ancient temples and the Ganga from the terrace. The hostel is rustic in feel, but importantly very clean. The staff Sudhir, Pawan and the dude Manager Vikram made my stay excellent. My primary purpose was Yoga, and it had the right environment for me, it was quiet, with like-minded guests (most of the time) and very clean. They seemed to have an emphasis on enforcing the rules of the hostels and keep the rowdy ones away. I ended up staying 20 days here and will be back. Some noteworthy facilities include washing machine, Kitchen and good WiFi coverage.

We came here with family in the month of Jan. I Felt very pleasant at the property, very peaceful when I sit at the roof top, with river view, greenery, lively birds simply pleasant. One who needs a peace of mind stay. Staff is cooperative, rooms are clean and nice garden with lot of vegatation, common area. Provided a complete info abt my travel plan which helped us to cover more places than in my list. Finally, Simply, Excellent 👌

It was an awesome experience staying in this hotel. The rooms are very neat and clean. There is peace all around. And most importantly all the ghats of banaras are hardly 500m from the hotel.
