Khushi Paying Guest House

I had a wonderful stay at Khushi Paying Guest House. The room was clean, spacious, and well-maintained, offering a comfortable place to relax after a busy day. The hotel staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, always going out of their way to assist. Communication was easy, and they were open to negotiating prices and additional services. I especially appreciated their help in arranging a private boat ride on the Ganges and a city tour with an experienced guide. Both experiences were seamless and well-organized, adding so much value to my trip. I highly recommend this guest house to anyone visiting the area!

I stayed at Khushi Guest House for a week in Nov 2024 and overall I like their rooms and exceptional services. Mentioned below are the key points Location: - If you are visiting Kashi Viswanath or Manikarnika or Kal Bhairav, then this is not the place to stay because its either a 1 hour walk thro the ghats or a 15 min rickshaw ride to Godowlia followed by a 30 mins walk thro the gallies. - But if your goal is to hang out around Tulsi Ghat, Assi Ghat, Sankat Mochan Hanuman temple or okay with the long walk to Kashi Viswanath mandir, then you should be fine Services: - They have excellent room service. Ashu bhai and Praveen bhai both of them are so sweet and helpful and go out of the way to get things done for you. Their room service is excellent Food: - They do not have a in house restaurant. But they have a veg restaurant right across the street from the main road which has decent selections and also Swiggy/ Zomato are deliverable here. So you should be good with getting some food of your choice, just not onsite but accessible thro the above services - They also have a shared kitchen on terrace if you wanna cook your own food Rooms: - Rooms are excellent. They come with hand wash, kettle, hot water, big rooms, nice and clean bathrooms. - They have a terrace with a decent view (no view of Ganges) - They have rooms of varying sizes but all of them are clean and neat - If you choose a bigger room, it was able to fit in my yoga mat and also prayer altar Noise: - You cant hear road noise as long as you select the room that is not facing the road. So if you are a sensitive to noise, make sure you let them know you want a room not facing the road - But the downside is, they have a laundry machine that runs almost all day until around 8 pm at night. If you are gonna be outside during the day it would not be a problem, but if you are gonna wake up late or just hang out in the room during the day, just know that their laundry machine continuously runs most of the day and it might affect you depending on how sensitive you are to sound and which room you choose. I was given the room thats right above laundry room and it messed up my sleep during the day as I was sick and was just at my room all day for one day - They also have kids running and yelling in the ground floor (mostly only on Sundays) , but if you tell the room service people, they will tell the kids to keep quiet, but this is something to expect as well Safety: - This is very safe, both in the rooms and also walking at night around the area Overall: - Pros: Room service, Room quality, safety - Cons: Noise, No Food onsite - Neutral: Price, Location

Rooms are nice...Comfortable... you can chill here without any hesitation.. Just older people can have some issue coz no life..and stairs are high builded..It will be tough for them to get upon the higher floor

Such a Peace full stay, i stayed here 3 days, and a good experience with this gust house, almost staffs are very frindly and helpfull, Assi ghat, is very nearest from the room, and watch ganga arathi from assi ghat by only 5 minute walk, and every time available auto rickshaw, cycle rickshaws to travel every ghats and famous Temples in varanasi

Great location. Close to Assi Ghat and plenty of places to eat. Helpful staff. Room was a good size and everything worked. Where it fell down was on cleanliness. The bathroom drains were full of hair and the surfaces in the bedroom or the bathroom were not clean. There was a stain on the wall which I have no idea what it was. Ours was the Jaipur room.

Home away from home. Tulsi ghat and Assi ghat are 2 min walking distance from guest house. We stayed in khushi paying guest house for 6 days. Staff are so good and helpful. Rooms are clean also. Then are ready to help when we need and guide us well. Will surely stay again whenever we go to varanasi.

The staff at Khushi of Paying Guest House create a truly special atmosphere. The guest house is sparkling clean, and their boat service provided a relaxing and scenic journey on the Ganges. They made me feel right at home. I highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Varanasi.
