My Experience staying here was very pleasant & heartwarming, to start with it's clean , neat & very tidy with nice & clean bathroom , clean fresh linen & blankets , the owners are great hosts you will feel comfortable & at home with them . The food they offer is homely, very healthy & tasty , they have their own cow so u can imagine the quality of milk & butter they serve you .in my opinion this is best option to stay for couples as well as single backpackers , Did I mention this home stay is between a nice apple orchard, it's very nice experience to pluck an apple straight from the tree & have it ..the location is very convenient, not more than 2 mins walk from the market / Bus Stand..

A perfect stay at Kalpa Bazar area. I was awestruck when I woke up in the morning and the gorgeous view of the kinnaur kailash mountain was right in front of me. The view can be seen from anywhere in the homestay, even if you stay at ground floor room. Rooms are clean, warm and smells good. I stayed at the ground floor and there is a shared washroom for all the 4 rooms at the ground floor. However, I was the only guest during my stay, so it was not a problem for me at all (even the washroom provides kinnaur kailash view. Haha) So it was snowing heavily in kalpa when I reached there and started looking for a stay. Luckily I found this homestay and they were so welcoming and good, and provided me the warmest room they had on the ground floor. All the sightseeing places(temple, monastery, fort) are at a walking distance from the stay. Also, if you're planning to visit the homestay in the month of September - october, you'll get to see a lot of apple trees full of apples, as they've their own apple orchard. They told me they arrange bonfire for the guests, if asked. However, the stay is at a little uphill walking distance from the main street (only 3-4 mins, but the narrow stairs to the homestay is a bit steep). It should be piece of cake for you if you're fit though.

If you're seeking a place that feels like a home away from home, look no further than this incredible homestay! My recent stay here was nothing short of magical, filled with the warmest family vibes, outstanding hosts, delectable homemade food, and breathtaking views of nature. Let me share with you the unforgettable moments I had during my time at this charming abode. From the moment I stepped into the homestay, I was greeted with genuine warmth and hospitality. The hosts treated me like a member of their own family, ensuring that every aspect of my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. Their attention to detail and thoughtfulness truly made me feel special, and I couldn't have asked for better hosts. One of the highlights of my stay was the food. Oh, the food! The local delicacies were a true treat for my taste buds, and I found myself eagerly looking forward to every mealtime. Dining with the host family added an extra touch of authenticity, making it a truly immersive experience. The homestay's location was a paradise for nature lovers like me. Surrounded by picturesque apple trees and nestled against the backdrop of snow-capped mountains, the view from my room was simply breathtaking. Waking up to the sight of nature's grandeur was a daily reminder of the beauty that exists in this world. Whether I was sipping a cup of tea in the garden or taking a leisurely stroll in the vicinity, the tranquility and serenity of the surroundings were unparalleled. The overall ambiance of the homestay was cozy and inviting. The rooms were tastefully decorated, exuding a rustic charm that perfectly complemented the natural beauty outside. I felt a sense of peace and serenity throughout my stay, allowing me to truly unwind and recharge. The comfortable amenities and thoughtful touches added to the overall experience, leaving me with memories that will last a lifetime. I cannot recommend this homestay enough. It is more than just a place to rest your head; it's an experience that nourishes the soul. The hosts go above and beyond to ensure your stay is exceptional, and their warmth and kindness will leave an indelible mark on your heart. If you're looking for a true home away from home, where you can indulge in homemade delights, immerse yourself in nature's beauty, and feel like part of a loving family, then this is the place for you. Trust me, you won't be disappointed!

We stayed here for 2N. Location wise it is very convenient as it is walking distance from Kalpa bus stop. Chauhan family is very nice and hospitable. The rooms were very clean and spacious. There is a good view of Kinnaur Kailash ranges from the homestay. The temple and monastery are walking distance from the stay. They also have an apple orchard and a cute doggo Rio. Would highly recommend staying here if you are ever planning on visiting Kalpa.

It was an amazing stay, we got a warm welcome and the family is so humble & treating us with special care. It's a wooden home stay typical himachal style surrounded by apple orchards with a breathtaking view of the majestic kinner kailash mountain range. They provide the homely food, what they cook for themselves,it was so tasty & healthy. Overall we had a great stay here. The only thing is the bathroom will not be attached to rooms here. It's normal in any typical home..

He is adorable) and very humble and warm Chauhan family. The place has very calming vibe... Built in the traditional style, clean rooms, and yummy food, the place will leave you in its awe.
