Amazing Homestay in Kalpa The family that runs the place is so kind and nice and help in any problem. You can order food from them and eat in the peaceful garden. Rooms are clean and the view from the balcony is just stunning! They gave us so many apples to take to our journey and honestly they are such a nice family. Thank you so much we hope to come again!

Overall bad experience. No housekeeping on arrival, no water in bathroom until multiple request, overpriced food, non working geyser. After a days a stay our room was shifted forcefully to appease new guest. No parking. No wifi nor the tv works.

The homestay has a amazing view of Kinnaur Kailash range!! You can see the beautiful snow clad mountain range from the window of your room or from the terrace!! The owner Aunty is a lovely person and hosted us with utmost love and care.. The food prepared by her was also very tasty!!

Deepak Home Stay is one of the best stay option in Kalpa with amazing view of Kinnar Kailash Mountains from the room itself. The room has amazing terrace where you can seat for hours watching snow clad mountains and chill. The home made food prepared by Aunty tastes amazing. Service and Hospitality at its best that too at an affordable and reasonable price.

The view and all was good however i really didnt like the hospitality. I understand that it is a homestay however there is no host who is attainable to the guest and are ignorant The family stays inside only however only their younger son who is very very ignorant runs the show. The washroom was not cleaned the day i arrived. My food was included in the package however the owner one day got food from outside which was pathetic in taste however charged me the complete cost according to the package Have stayed in many homestays in my multiple visits to the kinnaur and spiti valley . This homestay was worst. Better go for another homestay or hotel for convenience and hospitality

Stay away from this homestay! The most unhygienic homestay I have ever experienced. They will not change the bedsheets and blankets. When guests check out, they use the same sheets and blankets. In the washroom, you can find soaps used by previous guests. The toilet is in a very poor condition and the flush does not work. We have to use a bucket to flush the toilet. The cost of the food will be higher than the cost of a three-star hotel. A piece of Aloo Paratha would cost you 100 rupees, a black coffee would cost you 50 rupees, and basic Dal curry and rice would cost you 150 rupees. I am willing to pay if the quality and quantity of the food is satisfactory. But the food provided there is of poor quality. Another issue is that it is difficult to reach the property. Homestay is quite far from the bus station, and there are no nearby hotels. That is why the guests must eat at the homestay, particularly for the evening meal. This homestay robs its guests by serving them bad food and charging double the price The caretaker is very greedy! If you are looking for a hygienic homestay, do not stay here. Nearby, there are much better homestays serving good food and providing hygienic accommodation.

I have always given star rating and never a written review. The reason i am giving written review is that they deserve another chance. By any means for the price and the view it offers one cannot complain! I understand the only written review given by previous person. I see where this person is coming from given that this is a hospitality industry! My initial view doesn't significantly differ from that person's view (except for getting outside food) but then i put myself in the host shoes and giving this review based on it. They are people who have never seen city life and understand city folks typical expectations! They are very simple folks and who are doing their best given their circumstances. I am a fussy eater and expect things to be given in a timely manner. Time as a concept is not known when u r here in Kalpa. None of my time based expectations were met. But having said that i saw how much they tried and i asked for food whatever they make at home. It was honestly the best food i have had in Himachal in the last 10 days i have been here. All they need is a bit of training or understanding on what people expect from homestays! I am given to understand that they do plan to put a person solely for providing service. Given the location (amongst apple orchard and Kinnaur-Kailash direct view) and the price, u cannot get a better place in Kalpa! My initial intent was to stay for only one night and now i am staying for 2 nights.

Best Location Of Kinnaur At Kalpa Is Fantastic and Many Home stay And Hotels In kalpa But Deepak Home stay Is my All Time favorite because There Balcony View Are Awesome With beautiful view inside by room. you next one visit in fantastic location.
