Jigme Home Stay

We were a group of 8 who stayed here for 2 nights. The homestay is beautiful with large rooms offering an amazing view of the mountains. We particularly loved their traditional dining room and the food they served was so delicious. The staff was very co-operative and caring.

I hv not stayed to your guesthouse. But i love to share my experience. In the evening we hv visited to your guest house and after a long journey we are so tired..And also m travelling with 2 yrs toddler..There is no reception ,one lady came and show me the room which is on higher floor she code me Rs 5000 MAPAI with 2 big beds . We are 2+1. So we dont need big room.She told me they dnt hv room ,all rooms are sold out .. We ask the lady give us some more discount. but she say Nooo...So we agree with her words..I told the lady my husband want to see the room .He wll come and check the room bcz he has parked the car far away . After 15 min when my husband arrived ahe totally denied to give that room. She informed me no that room will be 7000Rs . I talked to my boss the price is for the another room. I ask the lady to show me the room..it better to stay in the road.. The lady i dnt think she is new ..After agreeing her word ahe litterally change her words. I wll say dear boss try to teach your staff . If its a homestay try to welcome the guest in a good mood.. And she recommend to stay in low catgry guest house.. If my budget is 4 k ..... June is season i understand but still i dnt think so your room or guesthouse room charges more than 2 k.

Beautiful & excellent cleanliness. It’s for sure much much better then many four star stay. It’s very homely & the view to the hills with a stadium around is nice.

Recently stayed here for 3 days during winter spiti expedition . Wonderful place to stay especially in winter. The host couple was very cooperative. Prompt response for any request. Food quality amazing. Clean rooms.perhaps the best location to stay in Kaza...

Staying at Jigme Homestay was an absolute delight! The breathtaking view of the snow-capped mountains is simply mesmerizing. I had an amazing experience during my stay at Jigme Home Stay. Great hospitality by the owners. Mountain view from the window/balcony of the room. Food was excellent. Warm water was provided during winters when water pipes does not work. Overall an amazing experience.

There may be properties which claim to be luxurious and have a premium but the management lack a heart and soul running the place remotely. The only recourse one gets is to write a frank review and nothing else once can do. Before this review is slammed by the people who manage it, will lay a few points which they cannot refuse. 1. The booking folks are very rigid and insist booking amounts which have a rigid cancelation policy. This every future traveller will face when you call them for a direct booking. This by itself is not entirely wrong but in a place which is so remote, very difficult approach, weather related uncertainty and not the least health related variables can cause a change of plans, for which they will strictly charge you even if it's a genuine reason for cancelation or cutting short the trip by a night. Their policies may be fair for them but they have no heart or consideration for a waiver even in off seasons. 2. The people who run the place are different from those who book or own the brand and seem to be disconnected or pretend to be one. They showed ignorance that there was no running water still in their property but upon reaching we were told by local hosts that running water does not start till 3rd week of April. 3. They were very understaffed with just one helper who was least motivated to even lift a pin or open the gate and left the host lady do all the running around which she did but this does not show good of a 'premium' property.

The blend of advanced interior design with traditional elements created a unique and inviting atmosphere. In my opinion, this homestay deserves a solid 5-star rating. It's the perfect place for those seeking a comfortable, warm, and authentic experience
