NillBeautiful people! Beautiful Place! Memorable experience! So, apart from all the best things, one of the foremost attractions of this property is its easy to reach location. Barely a 10min hike. It's undoubtedly a 'Home away from home', the staff and everyone out there is at par with their hospitality! And not to forget, the delicious food you'll find over there, prepared while not compromising with Hygiene, and served with loads of Love. For me, its a twice-an-year trip, since years. For years. Much recommended!

NillI have been to this place quite few times now and had a quality experience during my each stay, the staff is very cooperative and quick responsive. Also you get the best food quality with plenty of options Kalgha village is an experience in itself and this property adds more value to your stay. The owner is also very humble and the prices are totally worthy.

NillMy stay here at this splendid property was more than a month and not even for second I felt I was living far off from home. The location is at the heart of Parvati Valley, the food is top-notch and delicious. The rooms are one of their kind given the surroundings of the place and the view from common balcony is breathtaking. The common room is futuristic compared to any other stay at Kalga with best ambience and vibes to come and chill with other folks.

NillTafreegram is a budget friendly stay option nestled in the quaint village of Kalgha, offering beautiful views and homely food. You have to trek for a short 10-15 mins to reach the place. The rooms were clean and well maintained. The best part about the stay is the common space on 2nd floor where you can chill with your friends/family while enjoying mesmerizing views along with their delicious food. PS: Would recommend booking the 2nd floor rooms since they are more spacious and have better washrooms as compared to the ones on 1st floor.

NillAfter a long walk crossing water streams running over the road unabashedly, I arrived at the staircase leading to the village of Kalgha. Under the thundering clouds, I climbed up the muddy stairs (almost stumbling down a few times). The sun was hidden behind one of the loud clouds, and the power was gone. I entered a faintly-visible Kalga. Suddenly the entire landscape changed. I was not in a village. I was in an apple orchard.

NillQuite a bad experience. Maybe our worst in ‘hotels’. This should be called a ‘shared hostel’ to not deceive tourists. For the minimal services they offered, the price seemed way too much. The hotel owners, who are just a group of boys, never mentioned that there is no road leading to the hotel. If you reach late at night, like we did, it would be a really horrible experience as you’d have to trek between muddy patches for good 45 mins to reach a run down looking place, that they call a hotel. If you’re travelling with luggage, god help you, as you’re at the mercy of local porters who will charge whatever they feel appropriate to carry it along with you while you trek. And assuming you reach by car, no safety for it, as it’s parked randomly at a very very far location from you. Now coming to the hotel itself. The rooms are thin walled, so we could hear everything the entire hotel was chit chatting about. The beds were unclean, with a layer of dust covering the entire bed and floor. The windows were not clean as well. I hoped the view in the morning would be at-least worth this trouble. But sadly even there I was disappointed. Calling in advance and saying that they will ‘prepare’ the room has no meaning as such. Food options are okay okay. Ordered through WhatsApp with their digital menu, but they pretty much they got it wrong mostly. Portion size was beyond our comprehension and we didn’t even find the patience to sit and argue with them. We just paid the entire money and left the next morning itself as we were stuck in the middle of nowhere. If you’re travelling as a group of friends, just for trekking, and partying, maybe it would work for you. The insane number of good reviews was really misleading for a family traveller.

NillTafreegram was wonderful and peaceful experience for me in Kalga village. Rooms were nice and cozy. The space in front of our room on second floor was magical where you can get 360 degree view of mountains, which you will not found in any other village. Our host was welcoming and Mr. Sahil was incharge of our services. They took care of me when I was sick. Cooked things on order which was not in the menu to make me feel better because of my sickness. And even reassuring that if I am ok or not. This was not just a stay of two days but a location that felt so much like home that I didn't want to leave. The whole staff was kind and helpful. If I go back to Kalga, tafreegram will be my place to stay.

NillGreat stay here, Dinu bhai is genuine person who makes sure all his guest have a wonderful stay. Rooms are clean with mat on it, food is like homemade (less spices and less oil). Location is fantastic just reaching here will take all your efforts as one has to climb for good 20-30 mints depending on their capabilities. Suggest to climb from Nepali market side as it is less step and shortee distance. Overall property is superb with an amazing host. Only con was the wifi was unavailable but the mobile networks are enough to provide good speed Internet.
