Musaafir Kalga

Most peaceful stay surrounded by nature. Traditionally build wooden house with infinity view balcony(a common place). Food was delicious, washrooms were clean and room is equipped with bed which is more than enough for 3 person. Caretaker of this place is very attentive and he is a great cook too. Very value for money place, most suitable for backpackers and nomad lover. 30-40 minute moderate track to reach here so I suggest not to bring more undesired luggage. But this place is worth it...

If you ever visit Cafe musafir Shanti niketan, & if you find Samar Bhaiya and Sujal, then undoubtedly you’ll have the best experience. They are such great hosts, Samar bhaiya and his wife cooked amazing food for us and Sujal was a great company in our trek, he made sure we had fun and kept telling us all the fun stories while on Buni Buni trek.

Overall Experience is Good....The hospitality is too Good.One of my Friend recommend this place. If anyone one visit there plan a vacation at least 3 to 4 days.As long as I stay there I feel connected with nature .

There are lots of hotels and homestays but I would recommend you one place @cafe_musaafir Homey food prepared by Lala Bhaiya or lala bhaiya ke hath ke Aloo paratha 🫓 🤤🤤and or bhi kafi chije khatarnak 🥳☑️and location is wow 🏔️

You need to keep in mind this is a hostel and not a luxury hotel but it was definitely a perfect place to stay. The staff was amazing, very helpful, efficient and nice. The rooms were comfortable and the bathrooms and kitchen were always clean and tidy. The location is also great with many great views We would fully recommend it for anyone travelling to kalgah! and the best part is the owner "gayatri" she is a excellent host..
