Buddha Homestay

We stayed here on our way to Kaza. Although we enjoyed our stay, some issues are worth mentioning. 1. We were not informed in advance that bathrooms will be shared. Although we didn't mind but it should have been conveyed. 2. Breakfast was included but it only included local bread with butter jam. Omlete, bread toast, paratha and even coffee was charged. None of this was informed to us. Nevertheless, the hospitality, view and room size was amazing. We recommend the stay but keep the above things in mind.

We stayed here for 2N. Location wise it is walking distance from the bus stop. The family is very nice and hospitable. The rooms are traditional and very spacious. We had an amazing view of mountains and apple orchards from our room. The home cooked meals were very delicious and fulfilling. The monastery and the Spiti river are a walking distance from the homestay. At night, one can easily spot the constellations and the Milky Way galaxy is visible to the naked eye, even from the bedroom window. I would highly recommend staying here. Value for money.

I stayed in this place for a night. The homestay is good and the people were kind and helpful. Adding on to this food was good. Sonam bhai is very kind person and he treated us very nicely.The owners of the homestay were kind and offered us fruits grown in their farms !

During our Spiti bike trip, we had to make last minute changes in plan (land slide) and had to stay in Tabo. What a stay it was. You’ll need help to reach the place but worth the effort. It’s a sweet family and they cook and serve love. Traditional Tibetan dishes and anything you want. The kid who looks after the property is Sonam - he is really a gem of a human being. Support a small business - stay here and you’ll not regret. The pic here was clicked from the terrace of Buddha Homestay.

Stayed there for three nights and spent the new year there. One of the best times ever. Perfect homestay. Lovely location. Exceptional service. Couldn't have asked more. And a big shoutout to sonam. He is the main person there who handles everything. Proper professional and wonderful guy. Guy second from left is sonam.
