We went as a family ( 2 adults and a 5 year old) to Halli Hathalu. It is a neat and clean, peaceful Homestay away from hustle and bustle of cities. If you are looking for a break do visit Halli Hathalu. The food was simple so are the rooms. Please don’t expect resort like facilities but do expect lot of calmness, simplicity, natural beauty which worked for us. :)||Food while was simple it was tasty and good. The caretakers Raghu and ashwini are amazing,sweet and always ready to help. ||Punith and family who own this are also warm hosts. :)

I visited Chikmagalur last month and had the absolute pleasure of staying at Halli Hithalu homestay- and I must say, it was nothing short of a dream.||From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth and incredible hospitality. The homestay is not just a place to stay- it's an experience itself. Surrounded by lush greenery and breathtaking views, the setting is peaceful, serene, and ideal for anyone looking to disconnect and recharge.||The food was absolutely delicious - homemade, authentic and full of flavour. The service was equally impressive - attentive, friendly and always going extra miles to make us feel at home. ||I would highly recommend Halli Hithalu to anyone planning a trip to Chikmagalur.

One of the best properties I have ever visited. Hospitality at its best along with the tastiest food. It’s located at an altitude with superb weather conditions. Will definitely visit again and a special mention of Raghu - who was the caretaker and helped us out with everything we needed.

Had an incredibly relaxing and comfortable stay at Halli Hithalu Homestay. Nestled in the heart of a lush coffee plantation, the property exudes a calm, plush vibe that instantly makes you feel at home. We were lucky to visit while it was raining, the chilly weather and misty surroundings made the experience even more special. The rooms are spacious, clean, and well-maintained. The staff is prompt, courteous, and always ready to help. One of the biggest highlights, apart from the serene location was the food! We truly enjoyed the Malnad cuisine with other dishes served here. My favourites include the mango dessert, rassam, idli, bisi bele bath and chicken drumsticks. The food simple, soulful and full of homely flavors. The buffet spread had great variety, and they also offer an à la carte menu that surprised us with avocado milkshake! Their Kamani Café has a charm of its own, it’s a very small cafe but a perfect blend of rustic and modern aesthetics. With its stone walls, open-air seating, and a cozy fire pit overlooking the plantation, the vibe here is effortlessly laid-back yet stylish. It’s a pet-friendly homestay, complete with clean kennels and open areas for pets to move around comfortably. A special shout-out to Raghu, the caretaker, who was extremely hands-on and made sure everything ran smoothly. Hot water is available at all times, which was a bonus in the cold weather. All in all, a hidden gem that offers comfort, warmth, and authentic local hospitality. Highly recommend for anyone looking to unwind close to nature!!

Extremely comfortable stay in a lush green & seren environment. Mr Punith is quite positive & accommodating. Excellent setup & Raghu's service is cherry on the cake. Will definitely plan to visit again. Highly recommend & big thumps up to owner....
