The rooms were clean, comfortable, and perfect for a relaxing stay." I'm thoroughly satisfied. Felt like home. Food was amazing, freshly prepared and tasty. Overall it was a fantastic experience. Highly recommended. Will definitely visit in future once again.

Almost taken all the rooms / cottages for my Family trip last week of July 2025. In a single ward - Excellent. Rooms, services, Foods, all caretakers are excellent. Different food available for small kids as well. Caretakers are doing their level best though heavy rain was there.

We had been to this homestay last week and It felt like being in home 🙂. We had great time and the food was really wonderful. Would definitely recommend this place . And especially the stay over there are very kind thanks to Rakesh(owner) umesh (manager) , Bharath (caretaker), chef and really thanks for being so helpful

We stayed in Arumuga kote room in IRA on 7th June. We had a wonderful stay at the homestay — everything was up to the mark. The place was clean, well-maintained, and had a warm and welcoming vibe. Special mention to the caretaker, Bharath — he was extremely humble and helpful. Every time we needed something, he was quick to respond, literally running to assist us. Even when we called him at midnight for an extra bed while he was asleep, he came without hesitation and arranged it for us without showing a hint of annoyance. The food was excellent, and the fire camp experience added to the charm of the stay. The staff, overall, were very kind and supportive. Though breakfast wasn’t included in our package, I had it by mistake, not realizing it — when I informed the staff, they were extremely understanding and didn’t charge me or make a fuss. The room was very clean, and we had a great time playing music and enjoying ourselves with the DF speaker till 1 AM. Overall, the hospitality and experience exceeded our expectations. Highly recommended!

Our recent all-girls trip to IRA Homestay in Chikmagalur was an absolute delight, offering a perfect blend of relaxation and adventure. Nestled amidst lush coffee plantations, the homestay provides a serene and picturesque environment that immediately soothes the soul.  Our children particularly enjoyed the play area. The culinary experience at IRA Homestay was exceptional. The food was delicious and homely, with a variety of options available for both vegetarian and non-vegetarian guests.  Each meal was a feast, reflecting the rich flavors of local cuisine, and left us looking forward to the next. The staff’s hospitality further enhanced our stay. They were friendly, hospitable, and always ready to assist guests with their needs. Their warm and courteous behavior made us feel truly welcome. Highly recommended to everyone!

Excellent Location for spending family vacation!!! Staff is very helpful - Bharat, Umesh are very attentive & provid all required services with smile. Food is next level - Don't forgot to try Poori Sabji & Samaiya Upma by Lokesh.. Location is Away from city noise , silent & relaxing feeling.

This is my second time stay in IRA Homestay , I must say the stay was very pleasant, rooms , services are at top notch. They have well maintained the cleanliness. The food was dam good. They have Kids play area as well and campfire facility. Totally worth staying. Must visit this place!
