One of the wonderful stays we have had in our travels. Rooms are clean and spacious. Food was fresh, home cooked and tasty with amazing variety. Very family friendly place. The host Poovanna and the caretaker showed excellent hospitality. He ensured we felt at home and helped in planning our day. It was budget friendly too. Overall, a flawless experience. I would definitely recommend this place.

One of the best place and near to forest safari of Nagarhole. Coming to the Pepper Trails Home stay it was pleasure staying over there of 3 family members and completely happy the way service, hospitality, ambience & well maintained. The food was awesome. Lastly the credit goes to the owner Mr.Povanna was geninue and nice person.

Ideal for those looking to escape Bangalore’s bustle, Pepper Trails offers an experience that is both tranquil and rejuvenating. My initial visit was a photography excursion with a friend, which left a lasting impression thanks to Poovanna, the homestay’s owner. His empathetic attention to detail and the lush surroundings had already won me over. Returning with my entire family, including my 9-year-old daughter, this experience managed to exceed our already high expectations. Poovanna’s proactive communication ensured our preferences were met, from culinary choices to accommodations for our driver. The new Bangalore-Mysore highway facilitated a swift 4-hour journey, allowing us to find our rooms ready upon arrival. The homestay’s secluded yet accessible location in a sprawling coffee estate near Iruppu Falls and within an hour’s drive from prime Coorg and Wayanad spots, makes it a strategic base for exploring. After over two decades in Bangalore and numerous trips across southern India, I can confidently say Pepper Trails stands out as one of the best weekend getaways. Whether it’s the delicious spread of meals or the serene ambiance, Pepper Trails Homestay is a gem that promises and delivers a memorable escape.

The host Poovanna and the caretaker showed excellent hospitality. He helped in planning our day as well. This is our 4th time visit. Will definitely visit again.I highly recommend this place.

We were a group of 10 and stayed here for 2 nights. Everything was well taken care off and very well organized. We enjoyed thoroughly and had a great time. Special thanks to Poovanna for his personal involvement and interest in ensuring we were comfortable through out our stay.Thanks to Raj , the caretaker as well.

We had a great time in Pepper Trails Stay, we had early check-in and Poovanna welcomed us with a great smile early morning. Nagarhole safari in the morning is just 10 mins away from the stay. Highlight of the stay is Food prepared by host Poovanna who’s a great chef by profession. I still cherish Appam and coconut milk stew we had. Nearby attractions are Iruppu Falls, Tea estate drive, Nagarhole. I would recommend this to all if you’re looking for value to money stay.

We were on a long drive from Kolkata to visit South India. While travelling from Rameswaram to Madikeri, we were looking for a quite stay & rest. We got reference of Pepper Trail at Kutta and straight headed there. The Car went right upto the cottage. A brilliantly maintained Cottage with all facility. A very serene place which we were looking for. We didnt opt for trekking to a Falls or Jeep Safari to Nagarhole Forest. Poovanna, the Owner took us around his Coffee garden and showed us the process of making coffee beans. The food quality served were just fantastic and too much quantity for two of us. A great stay and rejuvenated us for the drive ahead.

Its a beautiful place in coffee estates, wonderful smell of coffee all over.The place is calm n serene away from the busy lifestyle.Very rejuvenating stay and above all the food they serve has very authentic flavours n are very healthy. The tasty south indian food was prepared by Ashwini Ma'am and the italian dishes by our host Mr Poovanna.The hospitality is amazing.The ever smiling faces make u comfortable amidst a different culture. We had bonfires n board game.The trail walk within the property was amazing.The cottages were good, the evening snacks n especially the coffee was amazing .The entire stay was overwhelming and is highly recommended .
