A little unusually tough check in procedure, for one night only, with lots of private questions asked ; job title, employer, marital status etc. As I stayed in the house the evening, the conversation was taken to a much more relaxing and pleasant atmosphere. The owner and wife were - in the end - very gracious warm and helpful. tea and nibbles were offered. The room is pristine clean, working shower, working ceiling fans, very good mattress and with the night heat and humidity I appreciated the cotton bedsheets. The aircon is available but did not use it. Thank you very much

It's a traditional Kerala home, where the upper floor of the house is transformed into two cozy bedrooms with attached bathrooms. Enough of parking space. Amazing location for exploring restaurants and other tourist places.Very clean, beautiful done place. The owner and his wife are very warm. Highly recommended as we enjoyed four star hotel experience!

We stay at this lovely home whenever possible during our Kannur trips. It’s an incredibly relaxing experience each time with the perfect blend of the modern and the ancient. Superb hospitality, beautiful gardens and soothing greenery, clean linen and bathrooms, host’s assistance for arranging transport and sightseeing. Overall it’s a must-stay home away from home in Kannur.

When you want a home away from home, this is the perfect place to park yourself. It’s Kerela, it’s Kannur and then it’s this house. I saw it online and landed there. I got the room on the spot luckily. It’s about 500 meters from the main roads with a bakery, a breakfast place and a famous temple. The Couple is lovely. Had a good long chat about life, culture, family etc. It didn’t seem like I met them for the first time. The house is modernly done but still retains its rustic charm being over 6 decades old. A soothing and well-maintained garden and porch add to the vibe. It is ideal for family and friends and solo trips. I could write a book here :) Having my self-drive vehicle was convenient. The rooms gives you access to the terrace. Local breakfast was on the house. I’d absolutely recommend this place. Wishing good things to the lovely couple.

We were searching for a pet friendly property in Kannur. It was hard to find one and we found Hilltop Homes. The room that we got was neat and tidy. It had a shared lounge space and a small terrace. We enjoyed our comfortable stay and the host Vinod took care of all our needs. He was available whenever we needed him. Than you for making our stay very pleasant.

Very neat and clean room and bathrooms. Owners are very polite, helpful and friendly. Serene, quite and comfortable neighborhood. Good place to stay with family. Owners are multilingual and well travelled, and helped me and my family in arranging transport and food facilities as well.

Highly recommend this stay for anyone seeking a combination of excellent service and clean rooms. We stayed here yesterday and our stay was memorable one. Breakfast was even great. It is well maintained outside and inside of the home. Even the staff was very kind. Strongly recommend to all. -Nishanth
