Lazar Residency

We really enjoyed our stay at this homestay. It was a very comfortable and spacious room with a closet, a balcony, a big bathroom, and a desk. It had lots of natural light during the day. One of the best parts is that it’s very centrally located and it even has a kitchen. We were very happy to make our own meals while staying there. The hosts are a really lovely family and helped us out by letting us check out later on our check out date without charging us extra. This is by far the best place we stayed in Fort Kochi and at an unbeatable price! We searched for so many places to stay in Fort Kochi and were finally so happy and satisfied to end our trip at Lazar residency.

Lazary is a quite simple and basic homestay ina quiet environment. They serve simple Indian breakfast. Clean room and bathroom.|However, good value for the price.|The position in a small road is good and you can walk to the main points of interest in Kochi.

Joy and Jayci, the hosts, are very nice people. The room was good for 2. AC did not work that well but the wall fan makes up for it. The bathroom was spotless. The towels and sheets were also kept neat and clean. The complimentary Kerala style breakfast was delicious. The location is quite nice, if you want to go around Fort Kochi. Personally it felt a bit far from main town attractions such as Lulu mall, which is a 45min to 1 hour ride from here. Overall, I had a great experience, and would recommend anyone to stay here.

This is a fantastic home stay that I highly recommend. My friend and I stayed for two nights, between which the host and hostess helped us arrange an incredible, overnight house boat-ride. The two were in addition so so kind, considerate and flexible. The rooms were simple but cool, extremely clean, AC equipped, with access to clothing iron. After additional six weeks of travel all over India as young female Europeans this was one of the absolute best stays within our budget.

It was clean, just need thicker curtains and probably fix the window blinds at the bathroom. Cold shower. Air conditioner. We appreciate the early check in. The door lock also needs fixing it's difficult to lock it. Overall an ok budget accommodation if you don't expect much.

I’m a British/ Australian female traveller who visited India for the first time with my Partner. Kerala is the first place we visited and I was incredibly impressed with how clean, safe and comfy the homestay was. It is in the perfect location, very short walking distance to Princess street. The hosts are incredibly friendly, they helped me with my washing and also made us two delicious homemade breakfasts. The air conditioning worked really well and there is also a fan. Will recommend this place to any traveller and I would definitely stay here again.

This homestay is simple, but excellent value for money. The room was spacious and we enjoyed sitting on the balcony. The location is perfect - a short walk to the beach, places of interest and restaurants. We were provided with a Western breakfast that was perfectly adequate to set us up for the day.

The home stay is located in Fort Kochi in the center, which allows you to discover all the relevant sightseeing spots easily. We were happy to have a cozy and very clean room. The hosting family is super friendly and you will be warmly welcomed.
